What a special weekend at Loch Moy, bringing home a top three finish with Duly!

This weekend was particularly special because Loch Moy last year was the first event that Duly and I competed in together.

Although Duly has only officially been a Zupan horse for a few months, I have spent a whole year loving this boy!

The biggest thank you to my sister, Ashley, for putting my goals and ambitions before her own and giving me the opportunity to have my dream horse. I truly feel like the luckiest girl

I’m so excited for everything ahead and I know this is just the beginning of many great years to come!

Area II championships 2026 🤍

what a great weekend cookie and I had!! Saturday we started the weekend off on a great note. We had a lovely dressage test and danced our way to a 34.4 💃 and tie for 6th place. Cross country was awesome! We were inside the time and clear over the jumps to land us 4th overnight. Sunday. We ended our weekend with a bang! We jumped a clear round and were EXACTLY on optimum time!! With this clear round we managed to keep our spot and land 4th out of a BIG division of 22 riders!

Huge thank you to my parents (@briadams @ja0042) Aunt Jenny (@jennifermaccentelli) this weekend wouldn’t have been possible without you all!!

another huge thank you to the people who cheered me on this weekend 🤍

Cookie crushed it today!! We had 3 amazing phases and ended up on top 💪

We started our day dancing our way to earn a 35.3! SJ and XC we went double clear!

Overall cookie was so perfect and took great care of me throughout the whole event.

We ended up 1st out of 9 in our BNR division. We also earned the Pony Club Low Score for beginner novice! 🍪

Get to know Eastern Emerging Athletes (EEA) IEL Team

Meet our athletes, and learn more about some of our members in detail.

EEA was founded in 2024, after the inaugural IEL Championships.

The original four riders met on a scramble team at champs. They made a promise to each other as they walked off the awards podium, they would come back the next year with a team of their own!

Now heading into their third consecutive IEL Championships, EEA is stronger than ever and ready to compete at their best.

While one of the original four has since graduated, the heart of the team and its mission of camaraderie, teamwork and community remains the same.

Maybe not our best weekend yet but it was very hopeful to start to see everything come together. A 36 on the flat put us in the middle of a huge and competitive division and a rider rail in stadium dropped us a little lower. However, XC was her time to shine ❤️‍🔥 It was a big, galloping course and Springs ate it up! A double clear XC moved us up nearly 10 places to finish just outside the top 15. While I had hoped for a better weekend it’s a pretty good feeling to say a 36 is a high score for a test and to have XC be our strongest phase. Another highlight was bringing home the IEL team challenge win for @easternemergingathletes and East Coast Eventers! #gospringsy 😆🧁

I am so proud to have achieved my C2 EV USPC rating this past weekend! I am incredibly grateful to Jeannette Lussi for saving the day and allowing me to ride her boy, Rock’N Ranger. I would also like to thank all of the volunteers who dedicated countless hours to making this rating possible! A big thank you to Waredaca, De La Brooke and Annapolis Pony Club for hosting this rating.

While we didn’t have the best weekend on paper we got to practice the not so fine art of stick-to-itness. I’m so privileged to ride this mare and she gets better and better each time. Thank you to everyone who came and supported me this weekend and especially to @wilberding13 and @crawfordeventing for making this happen. It’s only onwards and upwards from here and I’m excited for the future. “I’m really in the pursuit of greatness, I know people don’t usually talk like that. I want to be one of the greats. I’m inspired by the greats- and I want to be up there.” -Timothy Chalamet”
