Surrey Park Football Club is delighted to announce that Paul Harte has accepted the Senior Men’s Coaching Role

Paul brings an outstanding football background and a genuine passion for developing players and building strong football cultures.

His playing journey began at East Doncaster, before progressing to Fitzroy U19s, where he captained the side in 1984, and later Preston in the VFA. Paul was also part of Collingwood’s pre-season squad in 1986.

Paul’s coaching resume is equally impressive. He has coached across Blackburn Junior and Senior Football Clubs and the Eastern Ranges, including as Blackburn’s Premier Division U19 Head Coach, where he guided the team to a 2019 premiership and a 2021 minor premiership.

At Blackburn, Paul also contributed at senior level and most recently served as Development Coach, helping the club’s teams to back-to-back premierships in 2022 and 2023, before finishing runners-up in 2024. In 2025 Paul joined Surrey as Senior Asst to James Kenworthy, leading the development of the midfield group. James leaves big shoes to fill but no one is better placed than Paul.

Paul’s focus on skill development, tactical awareness, leadership and building well-rounded footballers.

We’re thrilled to have Paul continuing his journey with the club and look forward to seeing the impact he’ll have across our football program in 2027 & 2028.

Excited to announce the return of 3 integral players of our women’s program, Pascoe, Carly and Bourkie!

Pascoe our Ressie best and fairest winner for the 2026 season continues for 2027. Instrumental to our midfield and our women’s program off the field, we can’t wait to see Pascoe dominate again!
Carly leads from the front, her football IQ and her work within the club off-field sees her as a pillar and rock for our club.
Bourkie pure heart and soul of cobs footy, can’t wait to have her back on the field.

For junior athletes, the off-season is where you can make your biggest gains — get stronger, move better, build speed and arrive at VJBL ready to perform.

🏀 Build strength
⚡ Improve speed & power
💪 Become more durable
📈 Develop better training habits
🎯 Prepare properly for VJBL, AFL and Netball Seasons

Parents: if your athlete wants to take their sport seriously, give them an environment that will challenge them, coach them and help them progress.
