Hoyt concept xts is a beast
This weekend i was at the welsh archery squad training in cardiff, unfortunately as @archeryexcellence_nickyhunt and @scas10 were being Dj"s my phone was being used for Spotify to play some of the strangest music ive ever heard.

The hoyt is a new bow to me and after having some form tweaks by the DJ"S it shot so well, I put my @ramrodsarchery stabilisers straight on it from my previous bow and after a few little adjustments its rock solid ! The hoyt paired with the beast rods is a joy to shoot.

My outdoor season is officially over.
Time to work on my technique and gear up for indoors.

I’ve achieved so much this year and am so proud of myself. I’ve grown as an archer and a person in the last six months.

Thank you to everyone who’s supported me and helped me get through especially my coach Philippa Lowe.

Here’s a quick recap of how my season looked.

Had a great day at @merlinfieldarchers on Sunday shooting in their annual West Midlands and Open Championship. Despite a couple of low arrows due to a shoulder issue I came away with a New National Record for WA Blue Marked in Barebow 50+ and the Championship medal for region and open. Great day with friends new and old and good to be able to help @jbowersarcher on his field competition too. @merlin_archery @ramrodsarchery @mybo_archery @uukha.archery @jet6_vanes @beiterarchery @bicasterarchery @eastontarget

Yesterday saw me doing my last outdoor tournament of they year. A WA Marked at @merlinfieldarchers I hadn’t shot this round since last October but am used to shooting the field in yards. Metres was a bit of a change.

It was the first time I was shooting a field course without a parent too but I had an amazing group of friends to go round with, Ethan Jones Zara Gemma Green Morgan Burgess Anastasia Wilson. Thank you all for having me. There were lots of smiles, laughter and jokes throughout the day and plenty of sweets too!

I really enjoyed myself and had a great time. On top of that I even managed to beat a long standing national record (subject to ratification).

Now it’s time to switch my focus to the indoor season and my first NTDP session this weekend!

ABFAA International ☁️

Back to back tournaments this weekend has me exhausted but absolutely well worth the fight. Very very windy today, most I have ever shot in, great for gaining experience though. 10 distances, 3 arrows, 2 times for a 274/300 which landed me in 1st place. Honestly had a really fun time, shots were not clean but in the wind it's really hard to pull through considering I don't own a thumb button, either way I'm happy with today. Definitely some good wind practice for upcoming AZ State Outdoor next weekend. Big big congratulations as always to those who share the podium with me, Katie in 2nd and Laura in 3rd.

Onto the next one! ...State Outdoor
