He called plug-in solar brands sellouts. Then they asked him to make a video.

Cory Mac from Oy Electrical had big issues with plug-in solar, and said so. When the brands came knocking, he set one condition: “I will make your video if you let me give my honest opinion.”

Would you have taken the job? 👇

It was great to meet and catch up with some of the awesome Solar Installers at SSL Birmingham. We have some proper LEGENDS in this community. Some exciting new tech coming soon as well. Reel incoming!

Wow... what a week we had at @solarstoragelive_uk at the NEC in Birmingham! If you saw us walking around with these backpacks on (3rd photo) and are still wondering what they are - they’re a small sample of our solar battery & inverter covers... made into backpacks! 🎒😆

A massive thank you to @waxmanenergy for having us on their stand - we couldn’t be happier to have been alongside such a well-known name in the industry. Thanks also to everyone who came to say hello; it was a pleasure to meet so many of our partners in person, as well as plenty of new faces.

If we spoke to you at the event and said we’d be in touch, look out for an email from us in the coming days or feel free to reach out to us directly. If you didn’t make it but want to know more about our covers, visit batterycovers.co.uk or get in touch.

Each year Solar & Storage just gets better and better... see you next year! 👀

Andy and Eddie came up with the idea all those years ago to try and improve safety in our industry through safe isolation and now I’m helping to keep that alive.

Many have helped along the way and I won’t stop trying to get the word out educate sparks and other trades.

Installer led training moved up a notch today as Dan and Sam showcased a @viridiansolar inroof install. Full of technical detail and banter. Just like in the real world out on site.

Mike and Dan covering slate ripping and flashing while Sam led on the concrete tile setting out and panel installation.

Great group of electricians and roofers on the course with some cracking conversations.

Tomorrow I get into the gateway and inverter training while Jamie kicks off the accredited course.

Huge thanks to David from Genius for coming in for the day and offering to pay for a place on next months course!

Along with our partners at the centre in Fox we also have a community of brands and individuals supporting us and those coming to learn both with us and beyond. Love that.

Credit Sam, Dan, Mike and Oli in delivering these so far. Word is getting around and demand growing!

Hope you had a great day!
