@missysprovisions is finally open and she real cute! ⤵️ This mother-daughter bakery specializes in true artisan pastries and long-fermented breads made with local Texas flour, and you can absolutely taste the love that goes into it all. The space is adorable and feels like it’s been a fixture of the neighborhood for years even though they just opened. Put ‘em on your list to try!

@rayjosephinecafe is a welcomed addition to the scene! We finally made it over yesterday and are already planning our next visit. We tried the Emmentaler breakfast sandwich and Le Poivré burger, which was genuinely one of the tastiest burgers we’ve had in a while. And Pommes Frites for the table, duh. The very generous bowl of fries that showed up was a glorious sight 🙂‍↕️ The interiors are simple but so well done, the people were incredibly kind and the whole experience just felt easy and lovely. And that patio? It’s going to be calling our name the second the first cool front arrives.

Add a @downtownwestsa crawl to your upcoming weekend plans ⤵️ Lately we’ve found ourselves spending more and more time in Downtown West, and honestly, it’s becoming one of our favorite parts of the city. It’s one of those areas where you can park the car, wander around for a few hours, grab a drink, pop into another spot, have dinner, and somehow still leave with a list of places you want to come back and try. Our current lineup: 🥃 @doublestandardsatx for happy hour oysters, great burgers, and one of our favorite downtown patios. 🍕 @leoshideout when we want a slice and a pitcher of beer. 🍷 @barbamboosh for natural wine, jamón, pintxos, and a spot that feels like you stumbled into Europe for the afternoon. 🤠 @pinkertonsbbq because no Downtown West day is complete without brisket, ribs, and probably some jalapeño cheese rice. 🍜 @kaedamabattleship for rich ramen, Japanese beers, and the perfect late-night stop after hopping around the neighborhood.

Think homemade garlic hummus, pescado with mango pico, and a prosciutto, green apple, and parsley oil tartine. And don’t worry, the charcuterie boards, pizzas, and all the wine you know and love aren’t going anywhere. Copper Rose has always been one of our favorite neighborhood spots for an easy glass of wine that somehow turns into staying for hours. Their cozy patio, welcoming atmosphere, and thoughtfully curated wine selection make it just as perfect for date night as it is for catching up with friends. If you haven’t been yet, or it’s been a while, now’s a pretty great time to change that. 🍷

What started as a food truck has become one of San Antonio’s favorite brunch destinations, and this week, Box St. All Day is opening its third location at The Portico at Shaenfield on the Far West Side. Founded by San Antonio locals @daniel_3vino, @sir_edward_ofboxst, and @doodle.girl.satx, Box St. has built a loyal following with creative brunch dishes, great coffee, cocktails, and a hospitality-first approach that feels distinctly local. The newest location opens June 17 and will feature the same menu favorites served at both Hemisfair and La Cantera Heights.
