Their Halloween Pop-up covers some spooky drinks and a Squid Ink Shrimp Scampi pasta but you can still order from their main menu. I was invited in to check out this pop-up, and thought the drinks had fun names but were a little strong for me. MANCINI’S | West End, St. Paul, MN Some places are impossible to separate from the city they call home. Mancini’s Char House is one of them. A fixture of St. Paul’s West End since 1948, Mancini’s has built its reputation around charcoal-grilled steaks, classic cocktails, and an old-school supper club atmosphere that has made it a longtime favorite among locals and visitors alike. For these two night photographs, I wanted to capture different perspectives of one of St. Paul’s most recognizable establishments. The first brings you closer to the towering vintage sign, its red neon glowing against a dramatic sky filled with deep blue and purple clouds. The words “Char House,” “Fine Steaks,” and “Cocktails” feel like a glimpse into another era. The second takes a wider look down West Seventh Street, where the illuminated Mancini’s signs stand out beneath a turbulent blue evening sky. A solitary streetlight, parked cars, and the quiet sidewalk give the photograph a completely different atmosphere. @monelizondo and I tried to go to @isles.bun.and.coffee to get a Cinnamon Roll for #NationalCinnamonRollDay, but when we pulled up we found out that they were closed due to plumbing issues. So off we went to the next best place @thebutteredtin! We grabbed a pair of their Cinnamon Rolls. They were served up warm and were so fluffy! You know I had to get the Cream Cheese Frosting on mine. A Halloween pop-up where the food isn’t an afterthought? Say less. 👻 @creeksidesupperclub turns into Creepside Supper Club for spooky season, and they really go all in. There are so many little details everywhere that you’ll keep finding something new to look at throughout dinner! We already love their French onion soup, but this time we switched up our usual popovers for the Relish Tray so we can have Shrimp Cocktail, Cheese Curds, Salmon Dip and Toasted Marble Rye 🙌🏻 The Scallop Risotto came with perfectly cooked scallop, and the Pork Chop was SO tender with that sage apple butter that made it feel very fall. 🍎 And of course, we had to try the spooky drinks too… the Great Pumpkin one was easily my favorite. 🎃 Send this to the group chat to get Creepside on the calendar! 📍 Creekside Supper Club | Minneapolis, MN #mnfoodie #minneapolisfoodie #twincitiesfoodie #halloweenpopup #halloweendinner
