No prep is ever the same… but this one feels different.

It’s not the same physique that started my last prep. I’ve been through things this past year that changed me, challenged me, and honestly broke me down at times.

There have been days during this prep where I’ve questioned myself, been overwhelmed, and wondered if I had what it takes to see it all the way through.

But we’re still here!!

Still showing up, Still doing the work, Still choosing the goal, even on the days when it feels heavy.

This prep isn’t just about building a better physique. It’s about proving to myself that I can keep going when things aren’t perfect, when life doesn’t slow down and when I don’t feel like the strongest version of myself. So here’s to X weeks out🖤🌻

Treat it like it’s your job. Show up, put in the work, stay disciplined and take it seriously… but don’t forget to have FUN with it. 🖤✨

You get one body, one journey, and one chance to enjoy the process. The grind matters, but so does loving what you’re working toward. 🫶🏼

Thank you @hardbodylabs to always have my back and keep me fueled pushing my lifts. Don’t forget to use CODE: KATIE at check out 🤘🏻

There will NEVER be a “perfect” time to start working on your health.

Not when work slows down.
Not when life gets less busy.
Not when things feel more convenient.

The best time to start improving your health and fitness… is right now.

Too many people delay taking action because they think everything needs to be perfect first.

Perfect diet.
Perfect routine.
Perfect schedule.

That’s not how progress actually happens.

Real progress is built through small, consistent adjustments:

• Choosing a slightly healthier meal
• Getting one more workout in this week
• Going to bed a little earlier
• Drinking more water
• Managing stress a little better

These habits may seem small in the moment, but they compound over time.

All goals are NOT created equal.

“Get leaner.”
“Build muscle.”
“Improve health.”

Those aren’t goals — they’re wishes.

A real goal is quantitative and built around a clear time frame.
It has numbers.
It has a finish line.
It has objective markers that tell you whether you’re progressing or just staying busy.

• Lose 12 lbs of fat in 16 weeks
• Add 15 lbs to your squat in a 12-week time frame
• Bring fasting glucose from 105 → <90 within a 90-day time frame
• Increase average sleep from 6 → 7.5 hours over an 8-week time frame

No time frame = no urgency.
No urgency = sloppy execution.

Set targets. Define the time frame. Execute with intent.

‼️This is preparation, adherence and discipline.‼️

The three keys to reaching any goal in life.
Busy dads say they “don’t have time.”
High-performing men make time. It really comes down to how bad do you want it!

You don’t get results by just going to the gym, that’s the easy part. You get REAL results by dialing in your nutrition, training, and recovery consistently over a long period of time.

If your nutrition isn’t planned, I can 100% guarantee you’re not optimizing your results.

Preparation removes excuses. Accountability builds consistency. Consistency builds the physique. It’s simple, but if it was easy, everyone would be walking around jacked with a six pack.

If you’re serious about your goals and ready to take your physique to the next level, I’m your guy! Shoot me a DM and let’s get working towards your goals!

Tip #1 Spend More time in the kitchen or at @eathungryhouse if you’re in the Denver area 😍

I’m serious though, results actually happen when you ditch fast food, processed snacks, and actually cook with real food.

And if that isn’t realistic for busy moms or professionals, Eathungry house has the option for healthy balanced meals made with real, whole food that is also protein rich coming in 4, 6, or 8oz protein options with balanced intake of carbs and healthy fats. There’s new featured meals each week and actually delicious and flavorful options. (Not the boring chicken and rice) They provide many different protein sources too so you can mix snd match your faves!! Meals are Picked up Sunday or delivered Monday and will last you Mon-Fri !!
