Any time I go to a restaurant that was featured on Diners, Drive-ins & Dives I always try to order what @guyfieri ate during his visit. Even though I’ve been to @waffles_whatnot several times before this trip I had never ordered what he tried on the show. Guy tried the heaven waffle (photo 1) & the confused cousin (photo 2). Both items were packed with so much flavor. The waffle sandwich was an insane combo of Mac & cheese, fried chicken, bacon and their signature house sauce all piled high on a house-made waffle. Derrick & his team definitely deserve all the recognition they got from being on Triple D because I’ve never been to a restaurant quite like WAWN!

This was my first time at their Muldoon location; previously they had a brick & mortar in Eagle River, and also operated out of their food truck. You order at the counter or via the toast app & they will bring the food out to your picnic table. The space is very casual with beautiful artwork from local artists and tons of room for kids to play in a designated area. If you haven’t checked out Waffles & Whatnot go have yourself a unique brunch experience! They are also operating a location on the southside out of @elimcaf.

| QUINOA SALAD RECIPE|
This was the last post on my story from the day I lost my ‘Ediblesnapz’ account…😔

But i’m glad I finally get a chance to share my healthy quinoa recipe!

🔹Start by preparing 1/2 cup quinoa according to packet instructions
🔹Let it cool down fully
🔹In a bowl add 1/2 cup cooked quinoa, 3 tbsp chickpeas, 1/2 cup sliced cucumber, 1/2 cup sliced tomatoes, 1/2 cup sliced olives, 1 tbsp chopped peppers, 1 tbsp chopped red onions (optional). Mix the ingredients well
(Feel free to add any other ingredients)
🔹In a separate bowl mix 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil, 1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon, 1/2 tsp Red hot sauce, salt, pepper and garlic granules
🔹Now pour this over the salad and mix
🔹 Extra toppings you can add:
Peanuts, mixed seeds, goji berries or raisins etc

You can serve this as a side or as a main salad like I have, alongside meat free sausages, air fryer broccoli and courgettes.

Don’t forget to add some greek yoghurt at the end!!! Best combination!
