It was a pleasure to be in Easton, Maryland to moderate Fred Ryan, my longtime friend and colleague from the Reagan Administration and at @whitehousehistory, for a conversation about his fabulous book, Wine and the White House: A History. Our fireside chat at the beautiful @ebenezertheater followed by an audience Q&A was fun and full of great stories. Fred’s book traces the surprising and often overlooked role wine has played in White House entertaining and diplomacy, from George Washington to today. Thank you to @dcpearlgirl and our hosts @bluepointhospitality and the terrific and engaged audience who joined us for this great evening. #WineAndTheWhiteHouse #WhiteHouseHistory #EbenezerTheater
