Been a long time coming! Very thankful to everyone who has been in my corner over the past years. As I step into a new season of life, pursuing new dreams and goals, taking a step back from BMX is one of the unfortunate downsides. For as long as I can remember, BMX has been my entire life, and my biggest reason to wake up in the morning. I’ve met and made so many amazing friends and made even more extended family members along the way. I’ve been so blessed by the Lord to live this life, face new challenges, and experience heartbreaks and insane amounts of joy. BMX is and always will be one of the most important sports and pieces of my life.
With that being said, I just wanted to take the time to formally thank the following people:

@cbenge28 Thank you for being my biggest supporter, loudest voice in the stands, and best dad I could have ever asked for. Thank you for every single sacrifice you have made for me, you’ve allowed me to live a life of learning, and immense amounts of joy.

@jeffupshaw937 thank you for always being the best friend, family member, and coach. You’ve taught me so much more than being just a good bike rider and BMX racer. You are truly family to me. To more fishing trips soon 🫡

@caleb366 thank you for being one of the best mentors I have. From forcing me to jump big jumps, to sitting on the couch talking life, I give you the biggest thanks. Thank you for taking me in and giving me a start to the dream.

@andrelacroixx Where do I even start bro. You have truly been one of the most important people and mentors in my life over the past year or so. I thank God for allowing me to connect with you on a level that most people don’t ever get to with friends and family. You are one of the biggest reasons I am the person I am today.

@ebmx My guy, thank you for being the greatest announcer the world of BMX will ever see. Thank you for everytime you’ve hyped me up, or talked to me while I rode off from the track❤️
Again thank you everyone who has allowed me to get this far. Thank you to everyone who believed in me and helped me excel. Love to everyone❤️
See yall at the track eventually..

As much as I am disappointed, I have to be proud of my efforts so we are ending the year on a high note. Looking back on the year I set some goals and I crushed them, I made the Nag 5 challenge podium. I finished 2nd overall in ABA futures. Made the final Futures race in the night show placing 3rd. 4 ABA futures WINS through the year. I earned 29 national class wins. I was on top of the national banner. I was featured in the Pro coloring book (thank you @niclong64 )! I raced internationally for the first time, and got my goal of a better world plate. I won 13 consecutive class wins. I got female rider of the year for @bmxsharks , thank you James! The girls came to race and I’m stoked to bring home the ROC 1. During all of that I had a small but amazing circle of people that pushed me to look for the 1% daily and kept it fun for me. Had an amazing opportunity to have @barrynobles95 in my corner to help me mentally and physically prepare for grands. So I couldn’t give enough thanks to him, the Big man upstairs, my family, @matteopigo_ , plus everyone cheering for me along the way and for being with me every step of the way, through the ups and the downs.

Hats off to @presliegould for earning the Nag 1 title after a scary setback before worlds. You came back swinging and you continue to raise the bar, and push us to be better. Another congrats to my training buddy and best friend @derinmerten . When we train together you really bring out the 110% in me every session, and that’s something I could never take for granted. You are the hardest worker I know and you always build me up and believe in me when I’m down on myself. So congrats on the best weekend possible.

A negative mind will never give a positive life. So this weekend is behind us, we are going onward and upward. And we won’t be making these mistakes in the future.
2026 is gonna be a good one!
