MEET THE TEAM! 🌟🫧🤸‍♂️🧊🐠

Hi I’m Carly! I’m a freshman Entrepreneurship major and live in 3WO. My favorite worship song at the moment is I Am Not My Own by The Worship Initiative. I’m always up for a game of eurche or a walk around Upland. And of course my favorite Italian soda flavor is Raspberry!

¡Hola! I’m Ellie :) I’m a transfer junior studying Spanish and Public Relations. My favorite worship songs are All Sufficient Merit and Highlands. I love traveling, summer camp, and if you see someone with a neon green bubble gun on campus that’s probably me! My favorite Italian soda flavor is Peach.

how can i even begin to explain this summer?

i can start with one word. GOD!!! this summer, the Lord has brought through so many challenges, but they have made me all so much stronger. God has answered so many prayers this summer in such unexpected but amazing ways. he brought the perfect people into my life at the exact moment i needed them. camp people truly are the best people you will ever meet! i have loved getting to know everyone on summer staff and i hope all of the relationships will continue! may the Lord bless and keep every one of you! Isaiah 12:2-5

now, some random small things that i already miss that didn’t even cross my mind -

1. the west side boat dock
2. weekend side quests in shane - feels like i was in jo silly’s car every weekend
3. driving around camp in the taco bell truck with hay hay
4. carrying around a camera constantly
5. wearing my staff shirt on mondays
6. camp cat nacho

Hebrews 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.

"How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard." ~ Winnie the Pooh.
I can't even possibly begin to describe what IV had come to mean to me. The people, the great discussion, and the friendships that have come from this group have been such a blessing and answer to prayer. We have constantly encouraged each other, lifted each other up, and without fail, have made each other laugh many times. I will miss these moments so much!
