Congratulations to bossman Brent Eccles who has been an integral part of the newly announced Te Wai Ōrea / Western Springs Bowl. A permanent stage is currently being installed and the transformed venue will be operational this October. Rock on!

“I’ve been enjoying music at the Springs for decades, but I firmly believe that the best is yet to come for
this incredible facility. Campbell and I have dreamt about this concept for years, so it’s exciting to be
now one step closer to seeing it happen.” - @eccles.brent

It could be three legends recording together for the first time: or three 70 year old musicians just having some fun, you choose! 🎵

Nobody in New Zealand music has more standing to say this.

Brent Eccles lays out exactly what’s broken: ticket money with no protection, tour deals built for Australia and dumped on us, and a country that talks down its own artists.

Very few people are qualified to diagnose what's wrong with the New Zealand music industry like Brent Eccles.

He's spent 50 years in the business, been the promoter behind Six60 at Western Springs and Eden Park, Frontier's man in NZ for the Stones, Springsteen, Ed Sheeran and many others.

This week he uses all of that authority to say what others won't.

Very excited to bring you this one - watch or listen wherever you get your podcasts.

2025 🐍
Year of becoming a mother.
Year of being forced to slow and be present in the moment.(Babies do that)
Year of releasing an album, touring and writing new songs I can’t wait to share.
Year of proving we can do ALL the things, if we really want to.
Year of suprises that have taught me the most about the joy of life.
Year of playing our biggest shows and being so grateful to get to do this. ( I love you all)
Year of fans showing up for us despite all my worries and doubts.
Year of realising the value of following something you love in life, no matter how hard eveyone tells you it will be … and working till it becomes your reality.
Year of showing up for myself and still being there for my family.
Year we took our baby around the world playing shows in USA, UK, Aus and NZ .
Year of hitting over a million streams as an independent and self managed artist. Thank you 🙌✨
Year of getting engaged on Christmas Day 😍 ….

2025 was a year of learnings. Thanks for sticking by me while I figured this chapter out. Have a ‘Happy New Year’ my friends, be kind, laugh more than you think you need to and connect with other people. We are more similar and have more in common than we think ♥️ love you all. KB
