So grateful for the opportunity to walk TWICE in this year’s annual @thequeeraf fashion show by @love.your.labels for Worcester Pride!!! This was such an amazing experience, I truly had so much fun!!

My first look was for the local drag runway, and the hair look was designed by @helloanitatension my amazing designer!! So happy with this pairing, I love quirky fun visuals and the hair jacket was SOOOO fucking cool to get to wear!! So much love to Anita and her team!!! They’re amazing!!

the great hall at mechanic’s hall has such a special place in my heart. i grew up attending brown bag lunch concerts as a wee little one, then grew into performing there myself, singing in at least a dozen concerts in this space over the last 15 years. and last weekend, i got to make such incredible new memories in that space surrounded by so much queer joy and art.

Located in the second-largest city in New England, our art and fashion show is the ultimate celebration of queer joy, uplifting bodies of all sizes and artists of all identities, and serves as the annual fundraising gala for @love.your.labels, which supports trans and queer youth!

This year’s theme recognizes the complex history of denim, a textile that symbolizes labor, resistance, reinvention, and style.

We are thankful for the support of our presenting sponsors @Lasell_U @lasellfashion and @saintgobainnorthamerica in bringing this show to life in the iconic @mechanicshall in Worcester, Massachusetts.

LAYERS is a film about a nonbinary person uncovering a hidden connection between their father and an older trans woman, forcing a confrontation with faith, identity, and inherited silence.

At a time when trans lives are increasingly politicized and misunderstood, especially within religious spaces, this story is urgent. There is a lack of nuanced, intimate portrayals of queer and trans experiences that exist within faith-based environments, particularly in Black communities.

LAYERS is about creating space for those conversations to exist, not just through the film, but through the community and dialogue being built around it.
