You can restrain a body, but you cannot command a free mind. The spirit of freedom will always find a way to run.

Sometimes silence is more powerful than any explanation;
growth means trusting time and the truth.

I believe that the ability to rejoice in the happiness of others is a sign of one’s victory over selfishness—where the heart is freed from rivalry and reaches pure love and sincere admiration.

This quote from Marcus Aurelius reminds us that much of our suffering and pain comes from our own perspective and reactions, not from external events. In fact, we cannot completely control the behavior or thoughts of others, but we always have the power to change the way we deal with situations and people.

A wise thought on this subject might be: “Freedom does not consist in having complete control over the environment and others, but in changing ourselves from within and remaining calm in the face of the storms of life.”

This perspective reminds us that true peace and wisdom lie in accepting and controlling our inner self. No matter how difficult and unpleasant external circumstances may be, it is our reactions that lead us either to suffering or to peace.
.

This refers to the concept of impermanence and constant change in life, an idea also put forward by philosophers such as Heraclitus: “No one steps into the same river twice, for both he and the river change.”
.

The challenges we face are not designed to break us, but to build us. When we run from them, we are actually running from an opportunity to grow and flourish.
.
.
