Honored to bring Mimi to life in Eva Luna, based off the book by Isabel Allende, November 6th-November 22nd. The fact that a book written in the 80s includes a positive depiction of transfemmes both suprised and moved me. And this book would absolutely be banned today just for Mimi's presence. I'm currently on chapter 4 and it is a beautiful story of survival through storytelling, womanhood, and standing up to power hungry government officials. 🙌🏾💅🏽 Tickets on sale at teatrodallas.org
