#광고 Services were comped by Eco Jardin. Opinions are my own.

As some of you saw in part 1, I went red. Here’s how it happened.

Before anything touched my hair, Yoonseul ran an AI scan on my face and mapped out my proportions + which cuts and colors actually work with them. Turns out my face reads long (Cart Titan, we don’t talk about it).

Her + Minju’s pick was cacao brown, but it was my first time ever dyeing my hair (fifth grade highlights don’t count) so I asked for something more extreme. Wine red was already in my top 3 anyway. No bleach needed.

She explained every single section while she cut, showed me exactly how to style it after, and put up with a million questions. Ask for her.

💇🏻‍♀️ How to sound more professional at a salon

❌ “Your card has no money.”
→ This can sound too direct and may make the customer feel uncomfortable by assuming they have insufficient funds.

⭕ “It seems like your card was declined. Do you have another card?”
→ This focuses on the payment issue rather than the customer’s financial situation, making the interaction sound more polite and professional.

❌ “Your scalp is sensitive.”

⭕ “It seems you have a sensitive scalp.”

💚 SALON SERVICE: WORST vs. BEST

✅ 1. First Greeting
The moment a client walks into the salon sets the tone for their first impression.
Make sure they feel genuinely welcomed from the moment they walk in.

✅ 2. Keeping Waiting Clients Informed
If a client has to wait, it is the salon’s responsibility to keep them informed.
Clearly explain the situation and let them know the expected waiting time.

✅ 3. Review the Reference & Double-Check the Service

Before starting the service, carefully check the key details in the client’s reference photo.
Summarize their requests and double-check the details with them before getting started.

✅ 4. Styling Guidance After the Service
Once the service is finished, make sure the client can see the back of their hair,
which they cannot see in the front mirror.

Then, explain how to style their hair at home so they can maintain the look even after leaving the salon.
