What to Wear When It’s Pouring Rain? ☔❤️

I went to my friend’s daughter’s third birthday party today, and the rain was coming down in buckets. I wanted to look cute for her because she’s started showing an interest in fashion, so I wasn’t about to let the weather stop me.

Dressing for a rainy day isn’t always easy, so I focused on color and comfort. This dress is from the Uniqlo x Cecilie Bahnsen collaboration. Coincidentally, I also wore one of Cecilie Bahnsen’s designs recently.

I’m generally not a fast fashion person, but Uniqlo is one of the few brands where I consistently find well-designed basics and collaborations that I genuinely enjoy.

💡 Fashion Notes
• Red shades are defined by their undertones. Blue-reds have cool blue or purple undertones that can make teeth appear whiter and are especially flattering on cool or pink skin tones. Orange-reds feel warmer, true reds are balanced, and brick or brown-reds tend to complement deeper or warmer complexions.
• Open neckline dresses are the perfect canvas for statement jewelry.
• Jelly shoes are a great rainy-day option if you don’t want to wear rain boots or risk ruining your favorite shoes. I also wear mine on rocky beaches.
