There’s a new kid on the block 😤

🏆 10.3KG Rainbow Runner
📍 Fujairah, UAE

👉 I went into this day worried about my rod…I thought it would be too light for the Mahi Mahi and the fish out in Fujairah. This MH Ecooda Scorpio held out like an absolute champ all day (multiple Mahi’s were manhandled) and helped me land one of the biggest fish I’ve ever caught in my life (Top 3 for sure). Shoutout Laith and Richard for teaching me how to fight larger fish I know this fish ain’t a true ocean giant, but I tried to practice the fighting tactics we chatted about…ROD BUTT TO THE HIP BONE AND SQUAT BACK BABY 💪

GEAR:
Rod: @ecoodamena Scorpio UAE Special (only available at @anglersuae )
Reel: @shimanofishingsa Stradic 4000HG

Living the fishing life means using gear you trust — and this setup has landed me a 15kg cobia, so you KNOW it’s proven. I’ve partnered with Angler’s UAE to bring you the ultimate beginner-friendly, budget-friendly fishing setup, built especially for the Arabian Gulf.

This pack gives you everything you need to start catching proper fish, and yes — I still use this setup myself because it’s just that good 🔥

This is what you get:
• Ecooda Scorpio 10–60g Rod (specialised for Gulf fishing)
• Ecooda Zeno 2000 Reel
• 2 x Mizuchi Jigs
• Full Spool of Braided Line
• Ecooda 80m Leader Line

Perfect for smashing cobia, queenfish, trevally, snapper, barracuda & more without breaking the bank.

I just ate the sperm sack of a Kingfish… 😳
Also known as milt, this is considered a delicacy in Japan—and honestly, I can see why. Creamy, rich, and packed with flavor… not something I ever thought I’d try, but here we are!

When it comes to hunting and fishing, it’s not just about the catch—it’s about respecting the harvest and experiencing every part of it. You’d be surprised what hidden gems you find when you go all in.

Would you try it? 👀 Let me know in the comments!

Remember that “here fishy fishy” video? 🎣 Well… this is the beast I was chasing!
Landed a solid Queenfish—a species that a lot of people out here call pests… but not me! These fish are explosive, fast, and never boring to catch. They’ll smash your lure, peel your drag, and make every fight feel like a battle. 😍

If you’re into wild runs, acrobatic jumps, and serious power on the line—Queenfish are where it’s at.
Stay tuned for more fishing edits like this one because these moments are just too good not to share!

WANNA GO FISHING? Because this might just be the biggest Sherry (Emperor Fish) I’ve ever landed in the UAE!
Caught on 8lb leader with ultra light gear using the @sasan.lour Spark jigging rod, this beast gave me a fight I’ll never forget—drag-screaming, rod-bending chaos from start to finish.

But the real MVP? The Mizuchi Green 60g jig—absolutely unstoppable. Landed this beauty while out with @ecobluetours in Ras Al Khaimah, and let’s just say… moments like this are what we fish for.

If you’re keen to experience this kind of action for yourself, let me know—I’ll take you straight to where the magic happens!

Biggest Queenfish of the season in the UAE!
A solid 5kg beast smashed my jighead fly on the very first cast—and on UL gear too! What a fight! Shoutout to Ryan for the fly… it absolutely did the job. The kind of moment every angler lives for—light tackle, big fish, and that perfect connection.

If this doesn’t get your heart pumping, I don’t know what will!

Who else is a fan of chasing Queenfish on ultralight setups?

Hooked into a MONSTER in Musandam, Oman! 😳
I was using a light jigging setup with just a 40g jig, never expecting this beast to smash it! The fight was unreal—big runs, full pressure, and absolute chaos on light gear. This is hands down the biggest fish I’ve ever landed on this setup, and it gave me a serious run for my money.

Think you know what fish it is? You’ll have to watch the video till the end to find out… and trust me, it’s worth it.

If you’re into fishing, chasing monster fish, or testing your limits with light gear jigging in the wild waters of Oman’s Musandam, this one’s for you!

Fishing FAIL incoming!
So I’m holding this lovely Silver Grunter (aka Nagroor) and doing a nice little talk about how they get their name—because yep, they actually grunt. And just as I’m mid-sentence, this fish decides to launch itself out of my hand and straight-up shank me in the stomach with its sharp spines. 😳

Talk about adding injury to insult!
Still, gotta love the chaos of fishing—never a dull moment! Who else has had a fish turn against them like this? Drop your craziest catch stories below!

Well I’ve got my rod and I’ve got my bait, all I gotta do is sit here and wait…
Here fishy fishy!

That Queenfish chased my jig all the way to the surface and even gave me a solid strike—but didn’t stick! So close, but that’s fishing… you keep pushing, keep casting, and keep waiting for that next explosive hit.
Anyone else had one chase and ghost you at the last second? Let me know your story below!
