Something special is about to happen in Arizona.
I’ve been sitting with… scratch that… I’ve been living in the moment of THIS Word for a minute now, and I know if you are in the room it’s for you to hear. Ladies, I’m praying for your hearts as you prepare to join us.

To the speakers and my favorite conference host… I won’t be surprised by anything that happens this weekend. In fact I’m anticipating a move and a shake!

He’s gunna get the Glory Saturday… all of it!

To my people- would you pray for me as I travel- obedience and submission to the assignment.

Morning strolls help me clear my head and remember the simple anchoring truths. 1 of which is… He has always and will always be faithful. Love you guys. Be encouraged. 🙌 #mentalhealth #walks #peace #devotion

This song was not planned in our set today but I always try to stay sensitive to what the Lord wants for Himself and what He may want communicated in our corporate worship moments. In this moment I sensed Him say “remind them that I KNOW AAALLLL ABOUT their struggles…”. There was such love in that communication to my heart. I sensed it for the room but I grabbed it for me very personally. Only He knows but I’m so grateful that HE knows. Let this be your reminder today as well. Jesus Knows.

The sacred space of worship leading is not a space i thought I’d be in regularly in this season of my life. For all the reasons… among that list is the fact that the emerging generation of worship ldrs are absolutely MIND BLOWING. They hear things and go after things that I don’t think I was close to thinking at their age. While my wife and I are still honored to Pastor and lead Healing Voice/ ECOS church, this unique journey with Trinity Church is unlocking something that I thought passed.

I don’t know what the Lord is doing but I’m Certain that I am exactly where I’m suppose to be. To Behold Him… my Savior. My actual Redeemer, My actual Restorer and to invite others to Behold Him in whatever season of life they are in is an Honor that 26 yrs later has simply not grown old. He’s worthy of every thing I can give Him STARTING with my life. A daily living sacrifice and that’s ONLY by His grace.

To the David’s out there…
The young bright eyed Davids musing with your gifts…
The giant slaying Davids…
The post sin/fall/scandal Davids…
The older, wiser, battle worn Davids…

Don’t put down your harp.
Platforms will change
Opportunities will come and go
Assignments will shift
Relationships will evolve, begin, end, and evolve some more.

Remember our call is not to the people, the sheep, the Ekklesia, the five fold, the seven mountains, etc….Our highest & Holiest call is to Him… the Lamb of God. His heart, His yearnings, His deep desires, His very presence… That’s it. And the more we steward that focus the things of earth grow strangely dim…

I love love love my worshiping community @trinityworship . Everyone of them. I want to honor “MJ” @mjlittlejohnn (My MD at this revival night) for being so locked in and ready to help steward such a marking moment in HIS presence. May WE NEVER get “common” with Behold His Glory! 💙💪🏽

Sam’s going to El Salvador 🇸🇻

In March (6-14), Sam will be going with the youth on his first missions trip. He will get to share about Jesus at school assemblies, in the communities, and put his hand to work with building projects.

We know that this is a trying time for many in our nation. With sensitivity to that, in support of our son’s first missions trip, we’d like to ask those of you who feel so inclined to help Sam go to El Salvador.

Thanks in advance for both your seed and your prayers.

Smiling today, because it’s day one of the 10 Days of Awe, and my heart is so open to what the Lord wants to do.

As I do every year, I want to take this opportunity to open up a space for anyone who may feel offended by me in any way. If that’s you feel free to DM or text me. (I’m not taking private grievances and making them public conversations on social media). I am open to hearing you and making things right. So hit me up if we need to clear the air.

Here’s to forgiving, healing, and new levels of freedom.

Any hour of the day
And minute of the hour
Your family is your priority.
Your tireless service and endless love
Quite literally feels supernatural.
Each of our children have the most genuine and unique bond with you.
I admire you so much.
As a parent you are goals.
I treasure raising our children with you.
Thank you for this gift…
Every smiling face surrounding you in these pictures loves you from the depths of our beings.
Happy Mother’s Day baby. And THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!
You’re our Queen!

An open note…
Bran,
You are the epitome of virtuous.
You are brilliant in the darkest night and on the brightest day.
Your laugh and joy are infectious
Your freedom is emancipating
Your solidarity is uncompromising… You are unapologetically FOR who you are FOR!
Not one for pretense… endearment received from you is genuine or nonexistent
You languish in formality, rigidity and religiosity and Yet maintain the discipline to regard each when necessary.
I stagger at your motherhood… wow.
After nearly 20 years of self employment and minimal office work you decided to lend your gifts to the kingdom in a new way that would demand new rhythms for our family… GRACE GRACE has been your flow for years now.
I’ve come to not just admire what you’re able to do but the grace, poise, and charm with which you do your good work.
I guess it’s safe to say that at 45 we ain’t kids no mo! 😝. But I still want to ride swings with you , and visit cities like Geneva and ride bikes around “lac Léman” again; and I still want to go get ice cream spontaneously. I still want to wake you up in the middle of the night to watch something with me 😁. I still WANT to hold your hand.
You’re seriously as incredibly FIIIIINNEE as you were when we started dating. I’m so grateful for the woman I’ve had a front row seat in seeing you become. Somehow you manage to be a mama bear, sister, friend, auntie, bestie, amazing daughter, and gift to soo many. It’s the Honor of a lifetime that you are mine.
Happy 45th Birthday baby. You mean everything to me. I love you with my whole heart.
