Today we celebrate THREE years of Crasqui Restaurant. This journey has been filled with ups and downs, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Today, we celebrate the wins. We celebrate the recognition. We celebrate the food. We celebrate.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make this dream a reality.

I haven’t been able to stop thinking about last night.

We spent the evening pouring guarapita, sharing stories with guests, listening to incredible musicians, watching chefs pour their hearts into every plate, and seeing volunteers work nonstop in the heat without ever complaining.

The room was full of joy.

But underneath that joy was heartbreak.

Just a few weeks ago, two powerful earthquakes, measuring 7.2 and 7.5, struck Venezuela only seconds apart. More than 4,400 people lost their lives. Thousands more were injured. Entire apartment buildings collapsed. Families are still sleeping in shelters, cars, and on sidewalks because it’s safer than going back inside what’s left of their homes. For many, the work of rebuilding hasn’t even begun.

It’s hard to wrap your head around that kind of loss. Last night, our community chose not to look away.

CrowBar and Voliere Spirits were incredibly honored to be part of the inaugural Taste of Hope Venezuela.

As someone who has spent her entire career in hospitality, these are the moments that matter. The moments when food, drinks, and gathering around a table become something more meaningful than themselves.

To Soliel, the Crasqui team, Ecos de Venezuela and everyone who organized, volunteered, performed, cooked, donated, attended, or supported this event in any way, thank you for letting us be a small part of something so beautiful.

If you missed it, you missed something special. Not because of what was served. Because of what was shared.

One of the things that moved me most was knowing that this wasn’t just about raising awareness. Ecos de Venezuela is working to make sure support reaches the people and communities who need it most. Real families. Real homes. Real lives that need help rebuilding.

If this story moves you, please don’t let it end with this post.

Follow Ecos de Venezuela. Share their mission. Watch for upcoming events. Donate if you’re able. Talk about what’s happening. The fundraiser may be over, but the need isn’t.

Because rebuilding a home takes money.

Rebuilding a community takes time.

And rebuilding hope takes all of us. ❤️🇻🇪
