I’m sure this Serica 6190 Commando has superpowers 👀

This watch has no right to look this good, but damn it gets me every time I look at it, it proceeds to blow my socks off! Even with the gloomy weather we are having right now, that inky black dial just comes to life.

Been a while since I’ve had it on the Bonklip, but there is no beating the comfort and rugged look it gives to this watch 😎

Can the rain do one now please? 🌧️

I did a thing - built a Seiko TST Tuna mod today.

I have an unused TST machined shrouded SKX007 that has been in a drawer for years and never modded (shame on me).

John Bentley TheTigerUK sadly passed away in September 2025 and was the first to make a shrouded Seiko diver conversion (Tuna Can) mod in 2013 often using 6309 or 7002 diver cases and later SKX diver cases.

I have a lot of OEM Seiko dials and hands and have been contemplating which to put into this unique Tuna mod.

OEM Generation 1 Seiko Sumo SBDC003 dial and hands.

Knurled Bezel
Knurled 2nd generation Seiko Samurai crown

individual numbered TST as engraved by John for me. It’s a genuine SKX007 case back, sterilised, then engraved.
