I went a few days at Cecile and Nicolas home with @scenery_ltd @mathiasmentze to get and know their artistry and see their life in the beautiful mountains of Provence. Loved that they had a little mini stream of river water passing by their garden… will share more of that soon. Also sharing some of my film process at @lsd_lab @emulsion.lab Lavender and Clay: the Rhône Valley home of ceramic artist Cécile Daladier and architect Nicolas Soulier @ceciledaladier Photography by Pablo Di Prima @pablodiprima, words by Mathias Mentze @mathiasmentze Editor-in-chief @simon_b_morch Creative director @alistermackie Art director @adn.m Features director @liamnhess Interiors editor @wilfredrlewis Managing editor @immonalisa Junior editor @eddie_ _williams williams Production @gw.plus Post by @limonada_studio Film Lab @lsd_lab Always thank you Simon and Alister 🌞

Peek behind the scenes of a recent photoshoot for an upcoming feature in @sceneryltd magazine. It was a massive pleasure hosting the team at the Studio and making our way through a huge amount of photographs, slides, drawings and written material, gaining a deeper understanding of Topolski’s work life in the process. An extract from the article below: “Over the course of his life, which mirrored the major events of the 20th century, Feliks Topolski was best known as a war artist and portraitist of famous figures - and as the official artist commissioned to document Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation. But this glimpse into his personal archive looks elsewhere.” The article and archival research by Agata Łakińska, coming later this month, “turns away from the better-known narratives of monarchy and war, and instead enters Topolski’s studio, home, and journeys: a living space that was constantly shifting, where drawings piled up, overlapped, and recalled what he had witnessed, one moment after another”. Coming soon. -- Thank you to all involved!
