A few runs from the NSA Terror in Tahoe 1985. This was a crazy ramp. 🎥 Thrashin’ (1986) Celebrating the 40th anniversary of Thrashin’ This scene takes place just after Corey Webster leaves Hook’s house after visiting his sister, Chrissy. The Daggers spot Corey and take off after him, chasing him through the streets of Los Angeles and eventually into a parking structure. The chase continues down the spiral ramp, where one of the Daggers loses control, gets the dreaded speed wobbles and goes flying over the side of the ramp! 🛹💥 This is Mondo Beck. R.I.P. 🙏🏼 Mondo was a Alva Taem rider, an amazing artist, Dagger and origin JAK'S Team rider and a great surfer. (Thanks to Mark “Monk” Munski for the info) The scene was filmed at what was then Fox Hills Mall, now Westfield Culver City. So I recently went to the 40th anniversary of my favorite 80s movie Thrashin’ and I got to meet some of the cast members.
