Thank you @twosetviolin ( @brettybang and @eddy_adventure ) for making learning classical music such a fun experience!

I picked up the violin as an adult during the COVID pandemic, and one @twosetviolin video after another, I was slowly recognizing more and more pieces and violin techniques mentioned in these videos as I continued to grow with the instrument. Since then, I’ve got to attend so many live concerts (including yours!) and even meet the likes of @violincase at Walt Disney Concert Hall; I didn’t think I would be thattt interested in classical music 😅

Nowadays it’s been hard finding time to practice as I work on my career or marathon training etc etc, but there is violin repertoire I want to play as well and…they all require more dedicated practice ☠️

Though we will miss the frequent violin humor, we all wish you the best of luck in your new endeavors, and cheers to new chapters in life 🥂

PS when I made this account I didn’t have the intention of making this ig public, let alone have my violin journey be so exposed 🙈 but if it gets one more person to practice then for now by all means 🎻🎶 this ig account has remained dormant but maybe I’ll have the courage to leave it up. Idk, the internet can be mean sometimes to artists 😵

Finally saw TwoSet live in Thailand and I’m still processing everything 😭

When I found out they were coming to Thailand, I decided a normal gift was apparently not enough, so I made them a ridiculous little website instead. I just hoped it would make them laugh.

For the M&G, I brought them a few gifts connected to the project including TetSwo employee shirts and Thai school uniform shirts embroidered with their actual names in Thai.

The initials “ท.ซ.” on the uniforms came from “T.S.” for TwoSet, because apparently I had committed way too hard to this bit. 😭

I also brought them some chocolate from Chiang Mai, little Thai typing workbooks I made for them, letters, and a few Polaroids.

After months of waiting, this was finally happening 😭
TwoSet in Thailand, for real.

And then I sat down, Eddy started talking, and my first thought was: Wait… where are the CC subtitles? 😦
Apparently real life does not come with English captions.

Then, completely unexpectedly, Eddy pulled out his phone and scanned the QR code of https://tetswobobatea.netlify.app right there at the M&G table. 😭

I genuinely wasn’t expecting either of them to actually open the website on the spot.

He actually clicked around the site and made it all the way to the order page.

My plan was: show them the project, hopefully make them laugh, done.

Eddy’s plan, apparently: pull out his phone and conduct user testing immediately.

After the M&G, I stopped by the restroom, refilled my water, and walked around for a bit while waiting for my Grab. When my driver was getting close, I headed back to the pickup area, and somehow Brett and Eddy came out to get their ride at exactly the same time. 😭

Somehow I ended up talking to Eddy about the TetSwo website. He asked if I coded it myself, whether I was a web developer, and what I actually do for work. My brain was running on Tinglish by then.

At some point I mentioned two months. Two months by calendar. Please do not audit the timesheet.

He also told me to practice, so I responded very maturely by shaking my head, making a face and saying NO!

And right before leaving, Brett repeated the TetSwo s
