A little while ago, I had the wonderful opportunity to work with @jonny_hooker, @jerichokeys, @bethfxnch, and @abbey.rawlings.music at @youngthugsstudio for a wonderful live recorded event: Welcome to the North!

Every band we worked with was so lovely, and they sounded just as wonderful! The transitions between sets were so smooth, no doubt to the brilliant team mentioned above. I'd no doubt do an event like this again in a heartbeat.

Enjoy some photos I took during the event!

👋 hello mates am well happy to say 💀 WENCH! 🦈 is coming back to town they are doing really good and strong atm and they are bringing all their wicked music its gonna be dench it's gonna be hench it's gonna be wrench

👀 if u havent seen WENCH! before then soz i cant describe it to u it's like trying to explain the delightful whimsy of a majestic swan to a newborn baby 🦢👶 or the inspiring beauty of a sunrise over the yorkshire coast to a stevenage guy who has never visited 🌅🤔 u kno u just gotta be there to experience the fuzzy punk riot sound and also well funny chat 🗣️💥

come down and get ur hard drive checked ty ty ty 💽👮‍♂️❤️

ALSO FEATURING

📖 Eddy's Mistake: one of York's tastiest current acts that belt out insane bangerz that make you feel proper nazzed. Like pop punk but the other way round

🥴 Under The Influence: no amount of cranberry juice can help you escape the smack to the gob this Sheffield hardcore delivers. Consult your GP afterwards.

🧶 Knitting Circle: Grassroots legends and all round top folk belting out sizzling post-punk with no holds barred messages that'll leave you utterly fuzzled (please clap).

What a special event yesterday was!

It was an absolute pleasure to work with @youngthugsstudio and @jerichokeys to put on nine insanely talented artists in the studio. There’s nothing better than meeting lovely humans and dancing to some of Yorkshire’s finest talent🫶🏼
