POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Today it’s time to say goodbye to our dear colleague @jokereuvers. Here is her personal message:

After two years at this Embassy, this is a goodbye post that’s really hard for me to write.

These past two years have given me memories I’ll carry with me for a veeery long time: from preparing many many high-level meetings and working through busy Presidency days, to quiet mornings at the office and lunch breaks that turned into the funniest conversations.

I’ve been so lucky to work with an amazing team, on an island that welcomes everyone so warmly (and very literally!! 🌞), and to be part of projects that really meant a lot to me. We brought streets back to life for children to play on (with @opu_collective), made people stand still and reflect in a room filled with @eddyvanwessel’s photographs, and experienced moments like the visit of the King and Queen and the prime minister together.

But more than anything, I will remember the people I got to work with. Colleagues became very good friends, and even the busiest days felt lighter because of the humour, support and team spirit I experienced! 🥹

To the whole Embassy team: thank you for your trust, your patience with my endless questions, and for teaching me so much along the way ❤️

And to Cyprus: thank you for the sunshine, the kindness of your people, and for becoming a place that feels a little like home.

So, this isn’t really goodbye - it’s more of a “see you soon”!! I’m taking soooo many wonderful memories with me to my next adventure.🧡

Arles is impossible to experience in full—and maybe that’s exactly the point…😉
Instead of trying to see everything, I prefer to follow the moment, embrace the unexpected, and stay open to whatever encounters come my way…

Here are just a few personal impressions from the past two days: discovering Antoine de Winter’s & Cloé Harent‘s beautiful residency exhibition for InCadaqués, inspiring conversations with Eddy van Wessel (already looking forward to our collaboration with our fotofestival next year), reconnecting with wonderful friends and colleagues from the IPFA community, visiting Pooya Abbasian’s Soli-Sombre, spending time at LUMA Arles, and sharing beautiful moments with Ketevan Gvinepadze as we begin a new chapter with our collective SAMAIA, together with Dina Oganova💛💛

More personal impressions from Arles soon…
