World Cup 2 Krakau 2026

What an end of this season, finishing with a personal best in Krakau🤩

Finishing on 2nd place in K1 women for the first time at an big international event (also first women to do so from austria), but not only that, standing on the podium a second time on 3rd place in C1 women!

Especially after this season these achievements are really special for me. Competing at 10 events over the season while trying to get rid of a bacterial infection in my lungs, pushing myself to the best I could give, which didn’t quite give me the results I was hoping for. Coming of the strongest season I‘ve ever had, it was hard to feel that my body just can’t perform as good as before. But finally after over a year of finding the reason and right treatment, I got rid of it right before the World Cup!

I am so glad my body started to recover and I could perform at a way better strength level. Competing at the polish champs just the weekend before comp week was a big change of preparation, but it paid off 🔥 Taking 2nd place in K1 women as a prep for the world cup really gave me the confidence and validation that my body is capable of performing well again. Sure I felt I was not back to my full potential, but I knew I could perform well 😌

Thank you to everyone who supported me on and off the water, was there when needed, made me laugh, made unforgettably memories with me and build me up when I was feeling down 🥰

Special thanks are going to Roman, who has been on my side the whole year through, doesn’t matter what happend♥️

I am grateful for this season and in hope to come back even stronger next year!

ps. Krakau I will be back! latest 2028 ;)

Slow and steady wins the race!

1st time German nationals not in Germany
1st time organizing it myself (with a lot of help😉)
1st time Livestream for a German freestyle competition
1st time flying with a @hugekayaks freebird in a competition
1st time multiple 1000+ point rides in one competition
And finally 1st place in competition (not for the 1st time)

Let the search for the essence of freestyle continue!

Massive thanks to all involved! You were amazing!
