Dearest friends! A much needed update and a much needed THANK YOU to you all! ♥️

In December 2021, I had to put Considerate Goods on hold while I navigated some new work and life changes. And in the past few months, I’ve been considering all the possible options for CG’s path forward. Finally, I made the decision that closing the business is the best next step for me in this moment. And then, I spent another month making this recap video while feeling all the feelings - and there are manyyyyy feelings! Sadness of course, excitement for what’s to come, but mostly, THANKFULNESS to you all! From everyone that supported, shared, and considerately wore their CG <3 to the friends and family (ie. models, photographers, packers, cheerleaders, garage landlords) who were integral to making CG a reality! My hope from the start was to spread consideration, care and joy - and YOU ALL made that possible, and more! 🤗♥️

#somuchgoodness summarizes how I think about this whole adventure. This is what it brought me - and I very much hope it brought some glimmers of goodness to you as well. ✨

Thank you thank you thank you!

♥️Anela

the blue and white floral mask, made in Toronto - and perfect to wear with an outfit you designed, dyed and sewed in just two days - or any other outfit of your choosing!

seriously honoured to show off this #madeintoronto mask which is one of my best-sellers as part of this awesome #madeintoronto outfit! and truly forever inspired by this gal who actually made this whole outfit for this shoot - on a whim - and as if it was nbd - just because she is amazing and magic like that. 💙🤍💙💫 (she is also taking orders so follow her @edemali777 and send her a message if you're interested!) and stay tuned because I have many more photos from this shoot that I *can't wait* to share with you! 🤗

link in bio to shop the mask 😷💙✨

A few days ago, we said goodbye 👋 to our studio home in Chinatown after six amazing years!
.
When we started in 2014, we really didn’t know what we were doing or what we would become—we just wanted a space to make things with friends. Since then, we’ve grown into an amazing community of creative people from all sorts of backgrounds! Together, we’ve thrown ridiculous theme parties, built a wood shop in the back (please don’t tell anyone🤫), and hosted dozens of events and workshops for Toronto’s creative communities. For many of us, Makeshift has felt like both a home and a studio, and we’re certainly going to miss it!
.
Thanks to everyone who shared the studio with us and made our time here such a blast.
Makeshift out✌️
