The Lakepointe Church Firewheel team knows how to work hard and apparently, we know how to play hard too! 😂🏓

We took some time to step away and play some pickleball, laugh a lot, and simply enjoy being together.

I’m incredibly grateful for this team. They work incredibly hard, serve people faithfully, build dedicated teams of volunteers, and give their very best week after week.

Getting to lead this crew is a gift. ❤️

What a gift this summer has been to me. A summer of growing and falling more with Jesus and His church. It has been SUCH a joy serving with this team and would do it all over again!!!!!!

What a weekend. 🙌 Week 2 of At The Movies is buffering…don’t miss it this next weekend!

I couldn’t be more grateful for this incredible staff team. They work tirelessly behind the scenes, love people well, and faithfully serve with excellence every single week. It’s a privilege to lead alongside them.

This weekend, God did something extraordinary at our Firewheel campus.

3,370 people gathered with us for Week 1 of At The Movies. That’s about 1000 more people than Week 1 last year.

Even more exciting, 111 people at our campus said yes to Jesus. That’s what it’s all about. Every number has a name. Every name has a story. Every story matters to God.

Every number represents a person whose eternity has been changed.

Also not pictured are the hundreds of volunteers who gave their time, energy, and hearts to make this weekend possible. None of this happens without you. Thank you for creating a place where people can encounter Jesus.

We’re celebrating all that God has done, and we’re believing He has even more in store for Week 2 of At The Movies. Let’s keep making room for more. 🎬

HALLELUJAH, HERE WE COME.
There are few words to describe how holy this week was. Holy and unhinged in the best of ways. Psalm 78 tells us it is CRITICAL to pass the love of Jesus & his word to the next generation. “SO THEY WILL KNOW.” I’m thankful for the countless people that are so driven by the hope that those they lead will be able to respond “YES I WILL.”

I am so proud of the spiritual fathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters that ministered out of their overflow this week. Our students are forever changed.

To the production, worship, resource, activities, crisis, medical, patrol, and all other teams: The countless hours of planning, prep, packing, and time on golf carts primed the way for students to encounter the real God in a real way.

To the student team, I just love you and am forever grateful for you tenacity for this generation. My heart and laugh capacity will never be the same 🤍 @lpstudents

To God be the glory forever and always. What a church. What a team. What a group of students. What a week. What a God!!

This great adventure is never wasted on me. Life with Jesus is life abundant. May the trail of my life always lead others to Him. He is everything to me. ❤️
