The Wisdom was never lost, we just stopped listening…

We are living in a time where it’s the norm to reach for a panadol when you’ve got a headache or the GP gives you antibiotics when you’ve got a bug you’ve had for 2 weeks. And don’t get me wrong, there is always a time when pharmaceuticals are totally necessary, but often times there’s a natural remedy to help us out, and in a way that doesn’t put more strain or damage our bodies along the way.

I love to think of Herbalism as a champion for connecting humans back to the natural world. You might start with one herb and get to know it really well, and then you start getting curious about all the plants around your neighbourhood, and soon you start getting blown away by the everyday plants that got labelled as “weeds” simply because they started growing unexpectedly in a spot we didn’t choose. These plants have a funny way of popping up in our world when we need them, have you ever noticed?

Wanna learn more? Christen & I are brewing up some new dates for us to come together again, stay tuned 🥰🌱✨

I genuinely believe that one of the most healing experiences a woman can have isn’t another thing to learn…

It’s sitting in a room full of women and slowly realising she doesn’t have to shrink anymore.

No masks.
No performing.
No pretending to have it all together.
No competing.

Just women, witnessing women.

There’s something deeply transformative about being seen exactly as you are and discovering that you’re not “too much”—you’ve just been waiting for a space where you didn’t have to be less.

That is the heart behind Rise Sister Rise.

A weekend to soften, to laugh until your cheeks hurt, to cry if you need to, to reconnect with yourself, and to remember what it feels like to take up space without apology.

If your soul whispered yes while reading this… I’d love to have you there. 💛

“If you think you are too small to make a difference, you haven’t spent a night with a mosquito” - Dalai Lama 🦟

After spending a week in the Rainforest on Yalanji Country, it Seems like an appropriate time to share ~ this full event recap.

@moveandmanifest x @joywave.earth x @yaladatoursofficial

To celebrate the partnership we had a VR experience where participants were able to walk on country and sit at a waterfall in the Daintree Rainforest and listen to the elders of the Kuku Yalanji People share stories about the land.

Each ticket sale contributed to supporting Yalada Tours and Jabalbina Yalanji.

I am really looking forward to more events like this, having impact among the move community is so fulfilling ~ but by coming together and collaborating we can also have a much greater impact on other communities. Conservation is a Shared Practice.

This is a Sacred Pause.

A place where women who met 10 seconds ago hug like they’ve known each other for years.

A place where you don’t have to perform.
You don’t have to prove yourself.
You don’t have to arrive as a “better version” of yourself.

You just get to be.

And somehow, that’s enough.

The soul remembers long before the mind understands.

It remembers what it feels like to be surrounded by women who celebrate your light instead of competing with it.

It remembers what it feels like to laugh until your cheeks hurt with someone whose surname you don’t even know yet.

It remembers what it feels like to be seen.

Truly seen.

I think so many of us are craving this.

Not more followers.
Not more productivity.
Not more things to do.

Just genuine connection.
Open hearts.
A sense of belonging.

The energy speaks for itself.

And once you’ve experienced it, you realise this is how it was always meant to be 🙏🏼💛💌🌹

If this feels like what you’re craving DM me “I AM A QUEEN” to find out about our upcoming long weekend in Portugal 😘😘😘😘
