What an afternoon at The Stacks! 🎶🎨

Thank you to everyone who came out for Live at The Stacks and helped us celebrate this space, the art, and the community that brings it all to life.

We had live music from @loftypursuitsband, @scoresbymatthew, @edenrewa and @averytsingletary. Plus so many incredible neighbors and community partners joining us throughout the afternoon, including @themonroe_tlh, @burnbootcamptallysouth, @foxtailcoffeesomowalls, @amicusbrewingventures, @pineappetittally, @floridastandardspirits, @kimmie.kakes, @capitalcitybank and more.

We also loved having several of The Stacks artists there with us including @amanita_appalachia, @myahnart, @michaelcrowne, and @briteso_art, giving the community a chance to connect with some of the artists behind the murals.

A huge thank you to @wordofsouthfest, @tallahasseearts, and @visit_tally for supporting Live at The Stacks, along with everyone who volunteered, participated, and helped bring the afternoon together.

And of course, thank you to @somowallstlh, @tallahasseecra, our KCCI Catalyst team, the artists, project partners, and collaborators who helped make The Stacks possible in the first place.

Most of all, thank you to everyone who showed up, explored the murals, supported the businesses, and spent the afternoon with us. We loved seeing this space filled with so much energy and community. 🙌🏻

In February, I had the pleasure of visiting Florida State University @musicfsu to record and produce a song by Songwriting Competition winner @edenrewa. In 3 days, we recorded drums, guitars, bass, strings, vocals and more with Eden, her band and other students in the FSU music program. Thank you SO MUCH @wellsgordonmusic for inviting me and for creating such incredible opportunities for your students. Thank you Eden for trusting me with your song, and thank you to all of the students who played and engineered on this project. I can’t wait until the next phase of this song!

Musical Moment with Eden Rewa, Commercial Music junior here at FSU.

After winning the FSU songwriting competition, Eden brought her original song “Loved by Me” into the studio with visiting producer Chrissy Tignor (@datachild).

Through the session, the two collaborated to refine the song’s sound and bring the project to life.
