Was reminded it’s been 30 years since I directed the video for The Cardigans song “Love Fool”! I can only post screenshots as the vid gets flagged for copyright everytime I tried.

I was only in my young 20’s when we shot this on a soundstage in Queens, NYC. I pitched a kind of quirky technicolor dreamscape idea of a band in a bottle at sea with a love letter inside. Next thing you knew we were building sets, casting, coming up with costumes, and making it happen. I knew this song was a hit the minute I heard it. Was an exciting time making this, and then seeing this and hearing this everywhere once it came out. And back in the days when MTV had all the eyes, and ears! Nina, Magnus, Bengt, Lars, and Peter from the Cardigans flew in from Sweden for the shoot and were the greatest. Twas good times. 😊

Fun fact. I still have the bottle! 🍾❤️🥳

_SOLD | Lunga Vita

It was a pleasure to represent the sale of this 1912 Craftsman, standing quietly as the crown jewel of Melrose Hill and the inaugural home of the Nagomi Series. The home transformed into a living gallery, where light and form moved through each room with intention.

This was a poetic study of what real estate can be when care, creativity, and story lead the way. Every detail was considered, every collaboration purposeful. The outcome was never a question. When a home is presented with soul, it resonates, and it sells.

None of this would have existed without an extraordinary team of artists, designers, and collaborators who believed in the vision and elevated it beyond expectation. And to everyone who joined us for the first Nagomi gathering, thank you for bringing your energy and your curiosity.

Many more chapters to come. See you at the next one.
