Thanks to all who turned out last Friday evening for the opening of Mythic Presence. It was wonderful to see all of your beautiful faces. It is such a pleasure to show with my daughter, @sofialuz_art , and @danastenson . Our work has a common thematic thread that absolutely thrills me — the centering of the sacred feminine. For those who are interested in more depth, I will be doing an artist talk on Saturday, October 24 at 12:30pm. ♥️☀️♾️☀️♥️

A little sneak peek of Mythic Presence, opening at @edgewood_gallery tomorrow at 6-8pm. This show is special to me for a couple of reasons. This is the first time I get to show alongside my mother @laurenbristolart amazing fiber and wood work, and @danastenson beautiful jewelry. Tomorrow also marks the anniversary of my dad’s passing 5 years ago — at which time my opening at SUNY Oswego was canceled so I could be with him. Fast forward 5 years, and funny enough I’m having an opening. I like to think maybe it’s a sign he’s still here with me somehow. The show is up until November 20. ✨❤️♾️❤️✨

I am super excited to announce this upcoming exhibit at Edgewood Gallery in Syracuse. I will be exhibiting my work along with two women artists who I have deep admiration for: Lauren Bristol and Sophia Luz Perez. “Mythic Presence” will be up from October 9 to November 20 with an opening reception October 9 from 6 to 8 PM. I have an entirely new collection I will be bringing for this show, exploring some new themes in my work. So excited! Check out the pages of these two amazing artists and join us at the opening on October 9!! @laurenbristolart @sofialuz_art @edgewood_gallery #syracuseny #artopening #cnyartist #danastenson
