Woodleaf, the home I didn’t know I needed!🥲

Choosing Jesus means to step in the ring of life everyday, and what a blessing it was to be reminded that there’s a man that chose you to be in that ring and is in your corner preparing and guiding you!

What a summer it’s been, I can’t even express how Grateful I am God brought me back to Woodleaf this year, I have seen Kid just give there life to Christ and just the cool interaction and friendship I’ve crated has nothing but been so special and I just had the a great summer with all the adventures from going San Francisco, to Lake Tahoe to doing program and many more adventures, I can’t wait to see what God does in this new season 🫶🥹

What a Summer it has been! We are all so blessed to have the privilege of getting to call Woodleaf Home for the summer being in community and serving here to forward the kingdom is a privilege that not many get yet the Lord has chosen us to be the Stewards of his land and running the race so that his name would be Glorified! We are so thankful for everyone sending prayers our way aswell as all who have come to help serve or just be apart of this amazing journey in any way! Psalms 27- 1 The Lord is my light and my salvation
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life
of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked advance against me
to devour me,
it is my enemies and my foes
who will stumble and fall.
3 Though an army besiege me,
my heart will not fear;
though war break out against me,
even then I will be confident.
4 One thing I ask from the Lord,
this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord
and to seek him in his temple.

Thank you Woodleaf🌲!
I had the honor of serving for 3 weeks at a camp that felt like home. I went through a lot of highs and lows but I’m glad it ended the way that it did. I met a lot of cool people from all over the world and shared with others in a way that I have never done before. That's what YoungLife will do for you. All it took for me was to go to my first summer campaigners last year and it changed my life. I can’t wait for next year!

Made it out the Wood…

Going to the other side of the country to an unfamiliar place isn’t an easy task. However, if God is for us who can be against us? Serving at Woodleaf has been one of the most gratifying and fulfilling experiences I have had the privilege of having. In a world full of darkness this summer staff and work crew have been a perfect example of the light Jesus came to share with us. I arrived with an empty cup and left with one that overflowed with joy, love, laughter, gratitude and a community who reminds me of the love of and grace of God. While we may have distance, we each take a part of each other with us that we will carry forever. Thank you all for the memories that will forever live on in our hearts <3

sweet sweet session 1 !!!

one of the many reasons i love camping is because it reveals so much about God’s character in new and unique ways. throughout this session, i got to see the Lord move through times of peace and chaos. i felt Him move in moments of confidence and humility. i saw His spirit open minds and soften hearts as it filled this place. it is truly a gift to be a vessel for His love, because at the end of the day the only other thing we can bring to Heaven, is each other.
