Link in Bio. _ SINNERS DINNER Greed looks better in evening wear. A boy is taught that to survive, he must be the one in control. Years later, he has entered a world where money buys distance from consequence. Everything can be owned, used, displayed, traded, discarded. Even one another. What begins as appetite becomes entitlement. What looks like abundance starts to devour everything around it. Eventually, a world built around taking begins to eat itself. When there is nothing left to take, what remains? - Sinners Dinner is a new evening-length dance-theatre work about power, appetite and inheritance. When the need for more begins to consume us. Contemporary dance, theatrical imagery, original music, fashion, sculptural objects and immersive staging pull us inside a world of privilege, spectacle and unchecked desire. At about 1 year of age, I left China to grow up in Boston and have the opportunity to follow my dreams. 24 years later, I got to return to my birth country and perform in a musical. LIKE WHAT!? I cannot even begin to describe how incredibly lucky I feel. And how much this meant to me. Thank you to everyone involved. CHINA DUMP !! I’m so so grateful for the gift of travel. I fostered incredible new friendships, and learned so much from a rich, proud, and kind culture. Cannot fit enough pics from the journey but the camera is full :)) The rivers of Yangshuo! Famous rice paddy terraces of Longji. A long commute from Guilin but WORTH IT for harvest season. Ne Zha’s Flaming Pagoda Bamboo river rafting through Yangshuo— there were several drops, but very refreshing in the heat My indiana jones cosplay at Dazu Carvings Chongqing at night! 72 Wonders in Zhangjiajie Left over right is the way of the buddha We climbed 999 steps and then took 7 escalators to get to this temple! Avatar Mountains Very twilight coded— lot’s of hiking, no visibility rip The three sisters as seen close to camera and carved from the earth behind. Furong! soo many avatar mountains Bad translation— we explored a cave! ancient phoenix town— fenghuang ! This felt very disney coded to me Closing night 🥺 On top of Shenzhen 🥹🫶🏽🎡

Have you heard?! Exit12 will be in residence at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College this November as part of the CUNY Dance Initiative! In honor of Veterans Day, join us for Stories of War, an evening of dance and spoken word created with Exit12 artists and John Jay College’s veteran and military-connected community. Through personal stories and powerful choreography, Stories of War explores service, sacrifice, resilience, and return, and honors those who have worn the uniform. It’s a celebration of how the arts can spark dialogue, build empathy, and help us heal. Exit12 was co-founded in 2007 by U.S. Marine Corps Iraq War veteran Román Baca and his wife, ballet dancer Lisa Fitzgerald. It began as a way for Román to process his own return from war, and has grown into nearly two decades of sharing military stories through dance. Thursday, November 12

This Wednesday we are performing at the Montclair Art Museum in Montclair, NJ! Wednesday, September 23 5:30 PM - 8 PM Join us for the culminating celebration of the month‑long Veterans Resilience Arts Trail, dedicated to promoting awareness of Veteran suicide, inspiring hope, building resilience, and fostering connection. Throughout September, Veterans have created powerful works of art across a variety of mediums. This final event honors their creativity, showcases their art, and features special performances by the Exit12 Dance Company, the MHA Mental Health Players, and our very own Veteran guitar group. China trip, Nezha the Musical, part 2 - NYC to China week 1: We rehearsed for 2 weeks at Pearl Studios, freaked out about getting our visas in time, then flew to Hong Kong (I won an upgrade bid to Premium Economy!) and took a bus straight to Shenzhen. We spent the first week in a rehearsal location - our rehearsal hotel had a great breakfast and the rehearsal theater was huge! Mini-marts are everywhere, and so is Nezha (the most popular animated character of all time in China). #nezha #shenzhen #newmusical

I ❤️ Shenzhen! (And 4 weeks ago I couldn’t even tell you where that was on a map. Now I’m literally heartbroken to leave.) Thank you @nezhathemusical for taking me across the world and bringing together such a wonderful group of people. Seriously, what a crazy whirlwind of an experience.
