**My July Reading List**

I’m always excited to start a new month of reading, especially when it’s my birthday month 🎂. As I said in my previous post, I think June has been my favourite reading month of the year so far quality wise. Every book I read last month was brilliant.

As always, I’ve given some serious thought to this month’s list. I always love to have a few new releases, some from my TBR pile, and sometimes a proof or two, depending on bookmail. What I always do that’s important to me is make sure the list is full of books I personally want to read.

This is what I’ve come up with for July:

1. Dirt Pickers by Edie May Hand
2. Honey in the Wound by Jiyoung Han
3. The Night Stairs by Erin Kelly
4. Hard Place by Gab Torr
5. Venus Vanishing by Rebecca Birrell
6. Air by Christian Kracht
7. Ghost Cities by Siang Lu
8. At Sea by Y. M. Abdel-Magied
9. The Library of Traumatic Memory by Neil Jordan
10. Sublimation by Isabel J. Kim

I have to say I’m so pleased with the variety of this list. I’ve got some new releases and some proofs in there, as well as a big recommendation for Dirt Pickers, so I’ve added that to the list as well. I’m also continuing the Waterstones debut fiction prize shortlist. I’m currently halfway through the shortlist with Honey in the Wound next up.

I hope you all had a great June! I really want to know what book you’re all most looking forward to reading in July? Let me know in the comments 😊
