Edinboro commit Drew Allen was putting on a show at the Western PA Prep Hoop Runs this past weekend. He was knocking down shots, attacking the rim, and showing why he’s ready to make the jump to the next level.

Former Edinboro star Deontae “DD” Robertson has been a top performer for The Stars in the Dream Pro-Am. He’s been on fire from 3, deadly in the mid-range, finishes everything at the rim, and brings the energy every night. Can DD win another MVP?

🚨 JUST MY THOUGHTS… 🤔🏀

Edinboro’s head coach did what many coaches do every year—he accepted an opportunity that he believes is better for himself and his family. Congratulations and best of luck to Coach Jennings on the next chapter. 👏

But here’s the question…

When a coach changes schools, it’s called career advancement. 📈

When a college athlete looks for a better opportunity, too often it’s called being disloyal. 🤨

Why are coaches praised for making business decisions while athletes are expected to stay loyal no matter what?

If we’re going to preach loyalty, shouldn’t the standard apply to everyone? Or should both coaches and players have the freedom to make the decision that’s best for their future?

No right or wrong answer… just something to think about. 💭
