A few more moments from #Edinburgh 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Lots of walking around the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, Victoria Street, @curledinburgh and more. I was not prepared for the amount of walking and things but managed in the end!

Storm Boelo nearly swept me away this morning here in Edinburgh - and I was surprised to see such a clear morning eventually although of course the wind was insane throughout ☁️

Stay safe everyone!

Fine escape to the wonderful Edinburgh! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Views from the Castle, & of all the historic buildings, plus the remains of an old Chapel where some folks were getting married (we only got a quarter of the way to Arthur's seat as the weather turned), the very fine Black Moon Botanica, as well as lovely people & space aplenty - plus I didn't know there would be carrion crows everywhere = yes! 📷

Spontaneous trip to Edinburgh for a mini writing retreat, but it would have been rude not to enjoy all the books, shops, weapons and vegan food 😍

Cancelled this winter. Here’s Castle of Light’s encore.

I filmed this at Edinburgh Castle in December 2024. I’m sharing it for anyone who wishes the lights were coming back this winter.

Some evenings deserve to outlive the calendar.

More Scottish places, unexpected moments and the stories behind them here.

Did you know that @edinburghcastle offers after-hours tours? 👀🏰

Thank you to Edinburgh Castle for having us this week for a private tour around the Castle grounds, as a part of our volunteer social!

It was an amazing opportunity for our volunteers to get together and get to know each other, all whilst experiencing an incredible, spooky tour about the Castle’s ghost and witch history (which included some LGBTQ+ facts!)!

A particular thank you to Kaehlin our tour guide and Dan who helped to organise the event.

If you’d like to get involved as a volunteer (and join us on a social like this in the future!) then please check out the volunteer roles we have available at the link in our bio!

I'm back from a whistle stop tour of beautiful Edinburgh! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 A couple of days of exploring with my oldest friend, the kiddos and husbands was just what the doctor ordered 💛 We had stunning weather too so feeling incredibly lucky!

I've brought a cold back with me so this weekend I'll be in full hedgehog mode and hopefully back and down to business on Monday. Thanks for your card orders and patience while I've been away! I'll pack them all very soon! 💌
