Directed by former player Alfie Whiteman and narrated by lifelong fan Himesh Patel, Tottenham Til I Die marks the start of the season with a tribute to its community. If you're a Tottenham Hotspur fan, chances are you didn't get a lot of sleep towards the end of the last Premier League season. However, with that close call in the rear-view mirror (Saturday's result aside), the team is turning its attention to the people who stuck with them through thick and thin in rousing new film from Blind Faith, Tottenham Til I Die. Narrated by actor and self-confessed lifelong fan Himesh Patel, the film incorporates striking portraits of supporters and local figures, from walking footballers and matchday stewards to three generations of one Spurs-supporting family, alongside scenes shot in New York and Tokyo. In an additional neat twist, the piece itself is directed by Somesuch's Alfie Whiteman, a Tottenham-born former goalkeeper who joined Spurs' academy aged 10 and ended his 16-year association with the club as part of its Europa League-winning squad, before swapping his gloves for a camera. Motion graphics for F1 🏎️ Dream projects do come true! Last year I had this ridiculous opportunity to create motion graphics with @fairlightcreative and @edit.benson on a series of short films across the decades of F1 from 1970 to 2020. To ensure each decade felt true to the culture and design vernacular at the time, I used different mediums and motion styles. I ordered old magazines on eBay to scan in imagery of Niki Lauda, recreated telemetry from the early 2000s and got to use some of the new F1 motion principles for the 2020s. I absolutely LOVE research when working on new projects and this was like nothing else. I got to dig deep into the archives that many don’t have access to and spent hours imagining what it was like to create visuals for F1 way back then. Unfortunately I can’t show the films because they are for private viewing, but here are most of the visuals I created in isolation. The craft and storytelling that also went into editing the films is mind blowing. #motiongraphics #f1

Running 100km barefoot in the Sahara Desert.   Last year we joined forces with @ultra4charity for their inaugural ultra marathon in one of Earth’s harshest biomes.   It was tough. Blistering heat, getting lost, staying hydrated and making it back before dark... but the energy and determination was infectious.   What began as a test of human endurance became something so much bigger. Together, we all connected with the ground, the desert, and each other. A huge thank you to everyone involved. This was special.   🎬 Watch the full film on our YouTube, at the link in bio. #Vivobarefoot #FreeYourFeet

Behind the scenes: How we brought Overmatch Motors to life When Overmatch Motors came to us, the brief was anything but simple. Shoot a cinematic film on a live track in Torino, Italy, then build an entire Shibuya-inspired world  to layer over it, all within their brand vision, which we also built. Stay tuned… Here’s what that actually took:  900 man hours. 210 AI Gen Images. Post Team of 18 people. The process began with our Head of Story, (at)Markvenafilmart, who worked hand-in-hand with directors (at)Wes_Walker_ and (at)Lennantone to build a narrative arc that threaded through every single product in Overmatch’s lineup. Not a highlight reel but a story with intention, from first frame to last. Then we partnered with the MAT team to take raw 3D CAD production assets and transform them into fully textured, lit, cinematic assets inside Unreal Engine. The CG team was then able to execute an entirely surreal racing track in Shibuya blended with live action shots from the actual vehicle in Torino. Shot on location. Built in Unreal Engine. Grounded in story. This is what hybrid filmmaking looks like in practice.

Using Unreal Engine, the team built digitally lensed environments with shot design guided by one of the industry’s leading automotive cinematographers, @macgregor.works.
