POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Last week, I had the pleasure of being photographed by the incredibly talented and a gem of a person Daria. It gives me so much joy and inspiration when I work with women excelling in their craft.

Initially, I hesitated, wondering if I should step in front of the camera again. The last time was in 2016 for a short film, and before that, my life was filled with films, theatre shows, and countless shoots. Not as a profession or career choice but more as a hobby. Later my focus shifted to interviews, podcasts, workshops, print PR to raise awareness and promote my international skincare company. Although my work requires me to be mostly at the front end, truth be told I’m a very shy person.

I rarely use Facebook, however, their constant throwbacks made me aware that I mostly remember myself in my 20s- my youthful self, full of life, vigour and an insatiable appetite to win the world. Most of the times we celebrate the past, reliving the ‘good old days’ and often forget to live the moment.

I told myself it’s time to embrace the present me: in my mid thirties, bright eyes competing with dark circles, wisdom in my double chin, and a petite frame with a hint of weight gain. Still ambitious, but now choosing a slower life.

So here’s your girl reminding you to love yourself as fiercely as you love others.

P.S I may not be riding the latest trends, I don’t lust for the ‘viral’ bug and far from the GenZ wave, but I’m here serving very demure, very mindful energy (as always) with a side of 🔥

I survived my first Swedish winters with my trusted companion, Columbia Sportswear! @columbia1938 Gold standard for Cold 🤍

From durable gear to top-notch quality, their products never disappoint. Their advanced thermal - reflective technology Omni-Heat is built to retain body heat. I love their thermals and jackets because of their body contouring fit that conforms to movement. Super comfortable perfect for outdoors, hiking and winter sports.

Waterproof slip on snow boots are sleek, stylish and durable. Non-marking traction rubber outsole made from @continental.tyres for sure-footed comfort and high cushioning for those long walks.

Not to forget the water and stain repellent Trail gloves with advanced insulation and touch screen compatibility, keeping my hands warm and comfortable all season long!

Have you tried Columbia before? Drop in comments some of your favourite winter brands 🫶🏻🤍

A huge thank you to Therese Bilby @mama.nu @expressen for an extremely important and very well written interview about post natal depression and and life as a single mother with big dreams and a career all at once.

A subject that very few want to talk about but one that unfortunately occurs more often than it should.
But the more we have the courage to talk the easier it’ll become to help both ourselves and others ❤️
