It was a rewarding experience working with the @edmontonmuralfest this year. Connecting with and supporting artists from around the world, working together to create a more colourful and vibrant city 🎨

To top it off, @marcitcreative and I had the privilege of creating our very own connecting mural downtown @atb.place, blending two murals into one flowing art piece.

Be sure to check it out, along with all the new murals, next time you're downtown✌️

Took some time off from posting after what felt like the busiest season of my life. 🫟

When I went to scroll my phone to find a new mural to post about, I couldn't help but see all these photos and just feel so much love. These are only a few recent ones and so many I haven't yet shared.

It's not just about the art I have been able to create, but it's been the connections it's brought me to.

When I think of all the amazing people who have come through my life through these walls, I just feel so much gratitude. Every client, every stranger saying Hello, every kind comment and gesture.

Just feeling all the feels. 💕

I even met the Mama of the artist that sings this song. All of you that have stepped in my life have "watered my soul".

With love,

Ashley

Woke up to the sweetest surprise in my inbox the other day 💛 So honoured to be featured in this month’s Westmount Window alongside fellow 124th Street muralist Melisa Nocelli.

It means so much to see In Bloom highlighted as part of the vibrant, growing art community here in Edmonton. Creating this mural for Dine at May was such a joyful project, inspired by spring, botanicals, and connection, and I’m grateful every day to share colour with this neighbourhood. 🎨

Thank you @westmountcl for the love, and thank you @shop124street community for embracing public art so wholeheartedly. 🌸✨

👋🏻 Hi everyone, it’s Lindork!! 💖✨ With the new year comes to a new intro post. 🥰 If you’re new here, hello! If you’ve been part of my little corner of the Internet for a while, THANK YOU and hello again. 💛

💛 WHO AM I? I’m a full-time blogger / content creator, non-profit & community organizer, social media strategist and marketer with a journalism background based in Amiskwaciwâskahikan (Edmonton) Alberta📍 Canada. I started my own business in 2019 after a decade+ of doing content on the side of my news and marketing career. I’m also a fur mom 🐶🐱🐱🐱 & mom to a #MiracleBaby. It took my Realtor husband @mikethyking and I nearly a decade of Unexplained Infertility before our baby Benjimin arrived. I’m always up for adventure, noodles & bubble tea!

💛 WHAT DO I POST ABOUT? What I’m eating, where I’m travelling & things I’m doing (#ExploreEdmonton #ExploreAlberta), relatable life & snippets of entrepreneur + parent life. Comedy and call-outs. I do use my platform to raise awareness for social issues and I will call out racists, sexists, homophobes, anti-vaxxers, climate crisis deniers, genocide-supporters and generally shitty people. If that’s you, no need to hang around here. ✌🏻 Values & integrity are big for me!

💛 WHY BE HERE? I’m incredibly grateful to be a source for many on ideas for fun things to do, cool places to visit, amazing food to eat, arts to experience, local businesses to support, and ways to bring joy to life through the year! 🙏🏻 This account reflects who I am and what I care about. Some days that’s food. Some days that’s acts of resistance against the patriarchy. Some days it’s travel. Some days it’s anti-racism education. It’s all me!

💛 JOIN MY COMMUNITY! Read my blog, find me on Facebook, subscribe to my email newsletter #LindorksLists for recommendations on Things to Do, Eat and Know Each Week. 🥰 Participate in my events & projects: @YEGCatFest @ChinatownChowDownYEG @StopRaceBasedHate @ChungTa.CungNhau & more!

Say hi if you see me around & reach out to see how we can work together this year. 💕

THANK YOU so much for being here! 🙏🏻

A bit of color, texture, shapes and plants for this mural I painted for @edmontonmuralfest at Cosmedics Medical Clinic in Edmonton last summer 🙌🏼

This one was a fun challenge, it was soooo hot, with construction works going on right behind me and a wall that was a bit tricky to work with 🫠 But I think it turned out pretty, pretty good! What do you think?

Thanks @edmontonmuralfest and @illustrious_interiors for the help! 🤍

Part 1 of my arrival at @edmontonmuralfest and the first days sketching and painting this cacao themed mural for @delavoyechocolate 🤎

☝🏼First steps: getting to know the wall, transferring the sketch, getting comfortable with the harness (first time using one!) and losing the fear of being 8 mts up on a three-level scaffold

So much hard work, long hours and soooo many amazing people I met. It’s impossible to fit it all into one caption so I’m gonna spam this one real hard🙂‍↕️🫶🏼
