👑 Countdown to the Crown 👑 When you have the right people in your life, you can truly be yourself! There’s nothing better than a ladies night filled with laughter, fun, and amazing friendships. These incredible ladies and I met through United World Pageants in 2024, and what started as a pageant connection quickly turned into genuine, meaningful friendships. I am so grateful for the memories, the laughs, and the sisterhood we share. These ladies truly mean the world to me! Video credit: @mscaliforniaunitedworld @survivingmakesyoustronger Fun fact we've been friends for 20 years this year, and it's all because of pageants! #mrscaliforniaunitedworld #unitedworldpageants #unitedwestand #friends

I came to United World Pageants for the sisterhood, and three years later, I keep coming back because it has become so much more than a pageant… it feels like home. “United We Stand” means so much more than the impact we make in the world. It’s the way we show up for one another, lift each other up, and remind each other that we never have to walk alone. In this season of grief, this weekend feels like a little medicine for my heart. A place where I can laugh, love, feel supported, and be surrounded by women who feel like home. Three years later, I’m still choosing this sisterhood, and I’m so grateful for the home it has given me. 💙 #unitedworldpageants #pageantsisters #countdowntothecrown

✨ Countdown to the Crown 👑 What made you choose United wlWorld Pageants I chose UWP for more than what happens on stage. It’s about what happens throughout the entire pageant weekend, especially the sisterhood. Through this incredible system, I have made lasting friendships and created memories that I will cherish forever. This pageant values women, encourages them to be themselves, and embraces each woman for who she is. The friendships are real, the memories are priceless, and the sisterhood is forever. I’m grateful to be a part of the United World family and what it has given me in return. Thank you ladies for being a part of all the great memories!!! #mrscaliforniaunitedworld #unitedworldpageants #unitedwestand #sisterhood #memories

✨Memory Monday ✨ Earlier this year, I had the honor of attending and assisting at the Nevada United World Pageant. It was such a special experience to reconnect with dear friends and meeting the new Nevada United World queens. One of the greatest blessings of United World Pageants goes far beyond the crown! It’s the friendships and sisterhood that come with it. I’m beyond grateful for the genuine and meaningful friendships this system has brought into my life. Forever grateful for this beautiful United World family! #mrscaliforniaunitedworld #unitedworldpageants #unitedwestand #mrsunitedworld #pageantsisters

Some of the greatest gifts pageantry has given me have nothing to do with crowns. 👑❤️ It gave me sisters. Women who have been my biggest fans, even when we were standing on the same stage competing for the same title. Women who have cheered for me, believed in me, and reminded me that there is room for all of us to shine. One of these friendships has spanned 20 years, while others came into my life more recently. Yet somehow, they all feel like the kind of sisters I was meant to find. And when I experienced the heaviest grief of my life after losing my father, these women didn’t just send a message or say, “I’m here.” They traveled, they showed up, they held me, and they walked through the heartbreak with me. That is sisterhood. That is friendship. That is the kind of love that goes far beyond pageant night. 👑✨ Forever grateful for the crowns that brought us together and even more grateful for the women who stayed. 💙 #sisterhoodovercompetition #unitedwestand #unitedworldpageants

I am so glad I was able to surprise you last weekend and be there to watch this moment in person. There was no way I was going to miss it. I’ll be honest……I was the one telling you not to compete. Not because I didn’t think you could win, but because I wanted you to rest. You’re constantly pouring into everyone around you - your family, your friends, your coworkers, your titleholders & so many others in the pageant world. I wanted you to take a moment for yourself. What I didn’t realize was……this was your moment for yourself. This wasn’t just another pageant. It was your way of refilling your own cup. And seeing you walk across that stage reminded me that sometimes self-care doesn’t look like slowing down - it looks like doing the thing that brings you joy. After two pageants, you never gave up. You stayed the course, kept believing in yourself & proved that persistence really does pay off. So many people quit when things don’t happen the first time, but your journey is a reminder that the right opportunity often comes at the right time. I know this season hasn’t been an easy one, yet you still showed up with grace, confidence & heart. As your best friend & your big sister, I couldn’t be prouder. Congratulations, Mrs. Tawanda Romo, your 2027 Mrs. Global Icon! 👑 What a beautiful and well-deserved victory. I love you & I’m so excited to see where this crown takes you.
