My heart is full. Thank you to @schooltheatre (Educational Theatre Association) and the entire @thespiansociety community for an insanely powerful and joyful week at ITF 2026! Incredible students, incredible workshops. Moment after moment of connection, purpose, love and light.

To say that my @teachingartistalliance (TAA) family have been my rock, my wings, the past 20 months is an UNDERSTATEMENT. Finding the courage, faith, confidence and resilience to move forward as a freelancer once again after bump after bump in the road has been in many ways possible because of TAA.

Please tag me in any pix you might have from ITF as I didn't snag many from teaching--and please reach out for puppetry classes, coaching, resources, cheerleading--I'd love to support you! www.arettabaumgartner.com

Junior year photo dump! There were so many to choose from and I had a hard time narrowing it down to just these. This past school year was hectic in all the best ways. I was in 2 great shows, was part of one of our first student produced performances, worked 2 jobs, saw some amazing performances with my friends, went on a very fun family trip, auditioned at SETC, got a house with 2 of my best friends for next year, got a pretty cool boyfriend, and became closer to some of my favorite people. Here’s to senior year being just as (if not more) amazing!

First time in Utah 猶他州初體驗

Teaching alongside so many wonderful TAs at Utah DramaCon was such a special treat. The students were incredibly supportive of one another and willing to sit in the discomfort where growth comes into fruition. Thank you for having me.

And now, after a month away from NYC, I'm coming back for you :)

Pic 4: Of course, I failed at Pic 3. So a student volunteered to help.

第一次受邀到猶他州戲劇節教課
從沿路風景到每一堂課
每個眼神交會到每個微笑
以此作為為期一個月旅行的結尾

Thank you, @mississippitheatre (Mississippi Theatre Association) for the invitation to adjudicate and teach for your amazing state festival! Wow. You treated us all like ROCK STARS and the students and teachers/directors and MTA team were outstanding. Happy to be there with my @teachingartistalliance colleague @edreggi and to meet so many new talented and passionate folks— especially fellow Secondary Theatre adjudicators @martyaikens and Laurie Allen and our host with THE most @cdaviddelk!

Thespian season begins! An amazing weekend sharing puppetry and theatre games with @ksthespians — and sharing community and joy with beloved @teachingartistalliance colleagues. THANK YOU.

Off to @mississippitheatre next weekend, then @thespianslouisiana , @gathespians, @althespianssto , @scstothespians , @nvthespians and @washingtonthespians! Some workshops with @alliancetheatre , a week-long school residency in Greenville, a return to WV to support @actorsguild_pkb and some other classes and workshops = an incredible 8 weeks ahead of me. Stay tuned for an announcement about an exciting March/April/early May project…

I’m so fortunate. And I’m soaking up every moment of this adventure.

P.S.: I’ll have some openings as of May and would love to provide workshops, performances, keynotes, coaching for you— puppetry, theatre, movement, devising— let me know!

I owe a great debt to @edreggi for gifting me this Menorah 🕎 many years ago ❤️. And though I’m Catholic, it is with deep reverence that I join in bringing a little more light to a world that desperately needs it. Hanukkah Sameach!

I’m at the opening of the AIN (Applied Improvisation Network) international conference!
For over 20 years, I’ve been a dedicated volunteer with this amazing global community — and 24 years ago, I began spreading the culture of Yes, and… through improvisation in France.
I even founded AIN France to help bring these powerful tools to more people in education, organizations, and social change.

Today, I’m thrilled to co-host this moment with total spontaneity — and the brilliant Philippe-Elie is here too, drawing live as we go. What a joyful, creative ride it’s been ! #safetyharbor @applied_improvisation_network
