Thank you to all the come from aways for coming to the Rock this fall! EDS is so proud of our whole team for the amazing show we put on, and endlessly grateful for all the support from you all for showing up.

Congratulations to @mitchellpark.22 and @andrew_evanyshyn for bringing us along throughout their creative vision, to the hard-working executive team, our stellar creative team, the talented cast & band, the dedicated crew, and passionate marketing team.

Special shoutouts to our lovely stage manager @oliviattsoi for her meticulous work, our producers and production manager for bringing a revolve back to the Hart House Theatre stage, and to our MDs @joaquinantonioarc and @pree.skembarisbest for their infectious energy that lit up the room each time the band played.

An extra thank you to @hhtheatre for having us!

unfortunately this will be a yaption, as always… TL:DR I LOVE MY CAST AND CREW!

i would give anything in the world to perform welcome to the rock just ONCE more with my beautiful cast and crew again :( i can’t believe how much i took this show for granted, and it hit me particularly hard during our final show (those of you who started the show on my side of the wings know, i was a complete mess)…

i wanted to say thank you first and foremost to @pree.skembarisbest , the most beautiful, gorgeous soul of a music director to exist, and who actually is the reason why i ultimately ended up doing this show. love you so much, #yinandyang ♟️🌎

thank you to my wonderful cfa family, for helping me realize that nick, doug, and all the other characters that come along with them are in fact my dream roles! nick in particular checks all the boxes: i got to do a british accent, i got to portray a beautiful love story, and best of all, i got to sing the most beautiful duet with the most insanely talented @sabryn.dipaola :) thanks for being my stage wife/makeout partner/musical theatre duet freak matcher

thank you cfa fam for using your talents, ambitions, passion, and efforts to inspire me and the audience the way that you all did, and i cant wait to see what all of you do next, yes all of you, because respectfully you all need to stay near the stage because that is where you are all meant to be.

thank you to the most wonderful, creative directors ever, @mitchellpark.22 and @andrew_evanyshyn ! this show was so insanely meaningful because your guys’ insanely creative visions came to life.

thank you to my dearest cast: @benshn_ @leo__karras @musicforaneternity @myaisnotonfire @bh00vi @islaparekh @bianca_hopkins @ishola_onilu_bata @jchung814_ @juliaye_ you guys are the best parts of all of your characters, and i will never shut up about you guys. i could and would say so much more about each of you, but it would take one life time per person for me to say everything i can say.

but i’ve already said too much! thank you for anyone who read this far down, and in true nick marson fashion…

Such a great afternoon celebrating theatre and community! The pre-show talk gave such a great insight into U of T Engineering’s drama community and everything that went into bringing this show together.

Come From Away continues to be such a special story, with its message of community, kindness and peace still hitting home. ❤️
•
A talented cast and musicians all around, with a special shoutout to Mya Rocha as Beulah! 👏 I also loved the simple set that stayed true to the traditional feel of the show.

So great seeing theatre being kept alive and new communities coming together through it! 🎭✨

like most everyone, i am sorry saying goodbye ♡⋆˙⟡

so i conducted a show :,)

baby's md/keys/conductor debut, and what a beautiful beautiful show to have it with :,) come from away at it's heart is a story about people and community and kindness and compassion and selflessness and resilience and identity, and getting to be a part of it in any capacity is not something i could take for granted if i tried.

thank you to my lovely, wonderful & incredible band for trusting me and being so very patient with me and allowing me to suck at conducting for a bit and for being so wonderfully talented that it made my life easy. i love u all so dearly and i miss u already and i could not have asked for a silliest or more lovely group of people to do this show with. unfortunately this is also my 67th post which does in fact feel like fate; sahil i hope one day i'll find something that brings me as much joy as 67 brings you tbh. joey i'm going to miss you sneaking the lick into any and every song possible and then immediately checking to see if i noticed (i did). to my beautiful beautiful beautiful cast, you are stunning and perfect and wonderful and incredible and i love you forever and ever and ever; i don't think there was a single run of somewhere in the middle of nowhere or something's missing that didn't make me cry.

mitchell & andrew this show would not exist without you - you truly created something so special and so beautiful and i hope you are so incredibly proud and i am so thankful that you let me be a part of it. atousa i could not be more excited to see your md era you are incredible.

to everyone who came to see the show - i love u with my whole entire heart & then some. i have never been more full of gratitude and love than i have this weekend. even if u didn't come for me - you still have good taste and i appreciate that.

daniel i am so immensely proud of you; there is not a realm of possibility where i could've done this without you. i love theatre. i love come from away. i cannot say that i love screech.
