🇺🇸 Eduard P-40N Warhawk | Limited Edition

The P-40N Warhawk was an American fighter aircraft that served during World War II.

Today, I’m introducing Eduard’s special 1/48 scale limited edition, “15,000th.”

This unique edition commemorates the delivery of Curtiss’s 15,000th aircraft, featuring special markings and insignia representing air forces from around the world.

With pre-painted photo-etched parts and painting masks included, this kit offers plenty of detail for modelers who appreciate precision and historical authenticity.

With its classic lines and distinctive character, the P-40N Warhawk is a timeless piece of aviation history and a fantastic addition to any aircraft model collection! ✈️

Every great diorama starts somewhere!

We're kicking off this Spitfire diorama build with the assembly of @eduardmodels Eduard's 1/48 Spitfire Mk IXc. Let's see how this little aircraft comes together before the painting and weathering begin!

Watch the full Spitfire diorama build on YouTube! Link in bio.

Eduard 1/72 MiG-21MF Somali Air Force.

One of my favourtie Eduard kits I’ve built. Recieved as a gift from family, couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

Decided to go for the Somalian scheme as I didn’t particularly feel like doing a bare metal MiG. I had to mix a custom colour for the cockpit, from memory it was a mix of Tamiya blue, green and white. The overall camo colours are Mr Hobby lacquers, some slight variations from the instructions to closer match reference pictures. The exhaust was made with AK Aluminium.

Weathering was done mainly with some light post-shading and ABT 502 oils, I didn’t want to go too heavy with it but just enough to be tasteful. Everything was finished with a coat of Flat Clear from Mr Hobby. Trying out a different camera setup too so slightly different format for the pictures.

@eduardmodels Kittyhawk Mk.1 work in progress. Really like how the lighter brown chipped back to reveal the darker, burnished brown underneath, it really adds some depth to the paintwork.
