KUOLEVA - "JUST RAW FREEDOM" (FULL EP 2026) @kuolevaaaa @educacioncinica When I was in Fukuoka, Japan, I got to see a show with KUOLEVA, DRY ACID, and MURO. Right off the bat, I was super excited because it’s the city of SWANKYS and GAI—pillar bands for any punk addict like me. I really liked KUOLEVA because, beyond sounding loud and tight, and having that raw energy required to play hardcore and feel it in your gut, their songs feature details that managed to remind me of bands like THE LAST SURVIVORS, BLITZ, and THE BUSINESS all in the span of 10 minutes, in a way that feels completely natural for them. They seem like a band that just wants to make well-crafted noise, using whichever riffs they deem good, regardless of how they might be categorized. In moments like this, I find it really entertaining to watch bands like them—ones that escape the boundaries of subgenres created by the internet and the passage of time. Even though they sing in English, this record is undoubtedly Japanese. I believe that so far in the 21st century, Japanese punks haven't just been developing that characteristic noise/crust sound, but also a Hardcore Punk that has become their trademark, driven by highly energetic bands like RAW DISTRACTIONS, SKIZOPHRENIA, and ESPERANZA. I think bands like THE LAST SURVIVORS and PERSEVERE are responsible for this new wave of Japanese hardcore punk heavily influenced by UK82, serving as touchstones for an era that is still defining itself—a tribute to the fantastic DNA of huge bands that have inhabited Japan. Outside the country, they are influenced by Finnish hardcore bands like KAAOS and UK’s THE INSANE (Riot City Records). KUOLEVA has been playing for 9 years. This year they just self-released their third 7", and they have a broader trajectory with flexis and cassettes released either by themselves or through POGO 77 RECORDS. This cassette is limited to 50 numbered copies, but there is also the option to buy their record—though the record might take a bit longer to ship since they are still in Japan. Long live KUOLEVA! * LINK IN BIO * #KUOLEVA #JUSTRAWFREEDOM #FULLEP2026 #PUNK #HARDCORE

-------------- New band from Porto - Portugal: 6 tracks of breakneck mängel in the tradition of TOTALITÄR and HERÄTYS with a brazilian hardcore vocal delivery paying homage to CÓLERA and RATOS DE PORÃO. Equal parts catchy and unrelenting, the songwriting is permeated by a deep sense of politics in the lyrical content, dealing with subjects such as life as an immigrant, not wanting to conform, animal liberation, ecocide and the Palestinian struggle. * LINK IN BIO * #HAVERÁFUTURO? #AILUSÃODOPROGRESSO #FULLEP2026 #PUNK #HARDCORE

THE LAST SURVIVORS、BLITZ、THE BUSINESSといったバンドを思い出させるようなディテールが散りばめられており、それがごく自然に表現されているのです。

Distro update from @educacioncinica ESPERANZA - FREEDOM AND EQUALITY You can put on a show, dress up, start a band, upload your music online, network with the right people, and fuel your own ambition to be recognized within a system of elites and influencers that coexists with punk. There’s also another path, and that is to do it from the heart. The second path is that of Esperanza, a band that has been supporting and sustaining the Hiroshima scene for 13 years and is only now releasing its first 12″ vinyl. They are direct descendants of the generation that saw the world burn and had to rebuild from scratch. “Esperanza” ("hope" in Spanish) is a word that few people understand, and it carries more weight in their homeland than elsewhere. Hope is the only possibility—almost a biological one—to move forward after being a primary factor in one of the greatest injustices in the history of our planet. Less pleasant feelings like anger, frustration, and decay also coexist in their songs. Even if you don’t understand Japanese, you can really feel the vibe when you listen to their songs. While the band has a classic Japanese sound with a strong UK82 influence, what stands out most about Esperanza is their honesty and their explicit belief in the music they make. I had the chance to visit Hiroshima this year, and seeing a band like that live was like recharging a mind that no longer gets easily surprised after so many years of going to concerts. The humanity and humility of this band are extremely hard to find in punk these days, and that’s why, with great respect, I’m presenting my first vinyl release today in collaboration with my dear friend Metadona. This edition was printed entirely using screen printing, thanks to the help of my team, Artes Oscuras (that is, Ospi, Oski, and yours truly). It includes a 3-color cover, a 60×30 cm poster, and the first copies purchased directly through the store or Bandcamp will come with a promotional poster, also screen-printed, which was posted around Barcelona to announce the release. If we define “dbeat” as everything that came after Discharge but consider Discharge to.... Find more description on the labels bandcamp
