A little coffee studio, extraordinary voices. ☕🎶

What a privilege to welcome The King’s Singers to Duoffe Coffee Studio for a private rehearsal. Their breathtaking harmonies filled our space with music, warmth and unforgettable moments.

So grateful to have shared this special experience with such extraordinary talent. 🤍

I had an amazing time at the @singforpleasure summer school this year. It was definitely a challenging week but I had so much fun! 🤩

Last week marked the end to my time as a Young Conducting Scholar with @singforpleasure with the annual Summer School at Keele University. It has been nothing less than a rewarding and supportive experience in this journey as a choral conductor, and I would highly recommend attending any of their courses throughout the year! It has been a year of much learning, and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the support from this amazing organisation.

A special thanks to @ula.weber, Imelda Shirley, @dgillthorpe, @mattroughleymusic, @catherinebeddison and @stuart.j.overington for their incredible teaching and support in all the courses this year.

(A quick special thanks to @alexaitken91 for the incredible piano playing in my informal performance of Korngold’s Liebesbriefchen!)

Excited for what comes next!

What. A. Week. 💜😱 We still can’t quite believe this happened!! We spent four unforgettable days in Lübeck full of singing, learning, laughing, crying (yes, really!), making music with incredible people, and falling even more in love with ensemble singing.

Thank you, @kingssingers (and especially the wonderfully brilliant @juliangregorytenor!) for challenging & inspiring us, and inviting us into your world! 🫶

We sang our hearts out, and we’ll carry this experience with us for a very long time. ❤️

Big shoutout to all the wonderful ensembles we got to share this time with: @nada.vokalensemble @vocoderensemble @amita_vokalensemble @pop31.ensemble @byrdland_berlin

4 days of learning from one of the very best. We experimented, took risks and left every rehearsal a little more inspired than the last. (Also... we’re telling the story of poor Sister Teresa, who’s having a very stressful day. 😅)

Waiting for the KS to do their thing… 🤩

Wait... that’s us!! 📺✨ Safe to say none of us expected to end up on @ndr.de! Swipe to watch the segment! 👉

Iris on TV 😱🤩

And to finish it all... A party with one last chance to sing together, share our music, celebrate an unforgettable week, and say goodbye (which was much harder than we’d like to admit 😢). Until next time!! 💛

Thanks again @kingssingers, @schleswigholsteinmusikfestival and @mhluebeck for making this possible.

Music is only part of this story – so many conversations, laughs, inside jokes, and shared meals that turned strangers into friends. 🥰

… like this moment!! We met @nada.vokalensemble, started singing together over lunch, and suddenly everyone around us was smiling. We shared two of our favourite pieces by @elberdinjosu …

… and @ola.gjeilo. Music really does connect people like nothing else. 🎶

What an unforgettable week! We got to work with the @kingssingers 😭😍. Thank you sooo so much for this fun masterclass, getting to work with every single one of you was incredibly inspiring! Shout out to our mentor @edwardbutton1 - your inputs (and jingles) will live forever in our hearts 🐱😻

We also met some dear friends, old and new! We loved watching their sessions, seeing them perform, and just hanging out in our breaks having the best time. Sending all the love wherever you are and til next time!

Total joy to celebrate @chris.bruerton ‘s 14 *epic* years in @kingssingers last night at Dorchester Abbey, and to see so many wonderful choral-world friends out in force to raise him up. Here’s to your next amazing era, and welcome to the A Cappella Retiree Club!
