If you’ve been thinking, “I must book that CommuniTEA thing”… this is your little reminder that you actually don’t have loads of time.

This event is not until the 15th of August, but ticket sales close on the 27th of July as we need time to finalise the food, the beautiful little extras and gifts and all the details that go into creating this day.

But I also realised recently that maybe we haven't done the best job of explaining what CommuniTEA actually is.

I created CommuniTEA because of the conversations I was having every day in the treatment room, and because I realised how many of us are asking the same questions...

Why has my skin suddenly changed?
What are my hormones doing?
Why am I exhausted, but still can't switch off?
Is this perimenopause?
What is stress actually doing to my body?
How are my gut, inflammation, lymphatic system, hormones, nervous system and skin all connected?
And most of all... where do I even start?

So, I decided to bring together people I trust, with knowledge in different areas of skin, health and wellness, and create the kind of day I felt we all needed.

A day where you can learn about your body and ask questions.

Where complex things are explained in a way that actually makes sense.

Where you can learn about your skin, hormones, perimenopause, inflammation, stress, the nervous system and the connections between them.

But also a day where you get to stop.

To sit with a cup of cacao.
To breathe.
To meditate.
To experience sound healing.
To eat beautiful food.
To laugh, connect and spend a day with other people who are probably asking many of the same questions you are.

Because wellness shouldn't feel like another thing we're failing to keep up with.

This year's CommuniTEA is about Wellness in a World of Overwhelm and I don't think there could be a more fitting theme for the world we are living in right now.
If you've been watching from the sidelines and thinking about coming, this is me giving you a little nudge. 🥰

CommuniTEA 2026
Saturday 15th August | 10am–4.30pm

Ticket sales close 27th July.

One year ago today… I hosted the official launch party for The Search for Resilience 🧡

And honestly, looking back now, I still don’t think I fully processed what that season actually took out of me… or gave to me.

Because what you saw online was:
A beautiful launch party
A No 1 bestselling book
A huge career milestone
A room full of celebration

But behind the scenes?

It was one of the hardest seasons of my life.

Two young kids.
No sleep.
Postnatal exhaustion.
Business pressure.
And a six month launch season that demanded absolutely everything I had.

At the time, I wasn’t sitting there thinking:
“wow, look what I’ve achieved.”

I was thinking:
Get through the day.
Show up for my babies.
Hold the business together.
And somehow… keep going.

And honestly… I think I have mild PTSD from the whole thing. I honestly do not know how I did it.

But if there’s one thing that season taught me, it’s this:

Resilience isn’t loud.
It isn’t polished.
It isn’t a motivational quote on a good day.

It’s the quiet decision to keep going when everything in you wants to stop.

And if I’m honest…

The real win was never the bestseller list.

It was who I became through the process.

A huge shoutout to every incredible sponsors who supported my book launch party and helped bring that day to life. I’ll forever be grateful for your support, generosity, and belief in this message 🧡 Huge shoutout to my own fertility clinic @geneaperth for being the major sponsor.

And to every single person who bought the book, shared it, tagged me, came to the launch, messaged me, or supported me through that season…

Thank you.

I will never take a second of it for granted.

Truly.

So to celebrate one year of The Search for Resilience being out in the world for 1 year …

I’m gifting 3 signed copies my community 🧡

To enter:
Share one moment in your life where resilience changed you.

Maybe it was a season that nearly broke you.
Maybe it was something you survived quietly.
Maybe it was a moment that forced you to become stronger.

I’ll be reading every single one!!

Winners announced Friday.

What if the healing you do today changes generations after you?

Ever had a reaction with your kids and thought.

“Whoa. Where did THAT come from?”

Sometimes it’s not even our stuff.

Here’s the wild part.
When you were a tiny egg in your mum’s womb, your mum was inside your grandma’s womb.

Let that sink in for a second. 🤯

Three generations, all connected.

So the anxiety, the patterns, the stories, the nervous system responses, sometimes they have been travelling down the maternal line for decades.

I see this all the time with the mums I work with.
They are doing the work, healing their nervous systems, unpacking old stories and suddenly realise:

“Hang on, this didn’t start with me.”

And here’s the beautiful part.

When we do the healing,
when we become aware of the patterns, the triggers, the inherited beliefs,
we change the story for the generations coming after us.
We STOP generational patterns that we don’t want to continue.

Dare to be Seen stirred in my soul years ago.

From being conditioned to shrink and do as I was told as a little girl 🥹.

From shying from the limelight as an up-and-coming marketer in my 20's due to crippling low self worth 🥹.

From seeing, time and time again, incredibly successful and brilliant businesswomen softening their edges 🫣.

And from witnessing countless women, over years of attending self development programs, struggling to feel enough 😮‍💨

They ALL were worried about being percieved as “too much”.

That little whisper in my heart got louder and louder.

I was going to do something about this epidemic 👊👊.

No big following. No massive database.
Just a whole lot of passion and a deep knowing this work matters.

And last weekend, we wrapped.
3 months. A room full of women who were READY.

Ready to own their gifts.
Ready to build their authority.

Ready to be seen - fully, unapologetically, powerfully 👀📣🔥👠

This wasn’t just “branding”.
This was identity work.
Confidence work.
Visibility work.

And I know this is just the beginning for them. Because when a woman truly sees herself the world has no choice but to see her too 💥📣👀🎤.

It's never too late to start 🔥.

That was one of many words of wisdom from the legend Mel Robbins who had us in stitches last night in Melbourne.

What a show 🌟.

There were so many experiences and wonderful pieces of advice she shared, but the most powerful messages came from her 27 year old daugther who she shared the stage with.

Her daughter, Sawyer, shared how her mother was hardly home as she was working hard to build her dream (and pay down debts). She said, because Mum followed her dream I knew I could too 🙌. That got me good.

For working mums and business women, mum guilt is a real drain 🥹.

I often feel guilty working nights and some weekends, but I just hope my young son sees it as inspiration and learns that with a little hard work, a whole lot of passion and a dose of courage, you can follow your dreams 🌟.

2025 - What a year!

When I reflect, it's been a year of deep transformation.

I have created balance, better health, a stronger body, a cosier home, new wheels and a self worth upgrade 👊.

And I have had immense joy - lots of socialising, retreats, getaways and deep belly laughs with my tribe 🙏. I even got on TIK TOK LOL.

I have juggled a lot - work, business and mum life 👌.

I have shown up, been silly, been brave and can't wait to do more. Bring on 2026 baby 🔥

Melbourne 2025 🇦🇺 : For those of you who have asked .... are you even a real doctor ? Do you have an actual job??!! 🤣🤣🤓🤓 Well, this ones for you! Actually.....no. This one is for ME 🫶 !!!! My FIRST time back on a stage as a speaker since becoming a mum! 🥹 🫶

Hence the main frame here is me on the morning of the presentation with my twins feeding bottles in hand!! One who only drinks plain milk and the other who only drinks chocolate milk!! 🥰🥰

The last time I was on a similar stage was all the way back in 2019 in the UK 🇬🇧 where I took home the first prize for best clinical research fellow abstract presentation for the RNHRD! 🥳 Then I got pregnant (a huge blessing after many long years of IVF). And then , during my pregnancy with the twins ...along came the pandemic!!! Enough said. Right? What a time that was for us all!! ❤️‍🩹

And this .... is an interview after my first time back on stage again in 2025🥹 !! Thank you to everyone who helped me find my way back to myself. No words 💗 just lots of gratitude!!

Yes , we work hard and we play hard and we bloody well deserve it! Shout out to all my hard working dedicated amazing colleagues out there .... mums , dads and all!!!! We rock!! And don't you let ANYONE tell you any different !!! 🫶💪🙏💓

Listen to the lyrics of these carefully chosen songs !! 🥰🙏🫶💓💪 "she rises and she glows" followed by ....
"I'll rise with those who see the spark I hold" 🥹🙏🧡
