POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Two days in the world. 🫀

You have streamed ‘If My Heart Had A Voice’ a whopping 1000 times on @spotify alone in the last 48 hours, 🤯 and it’s making my little heart explode.

‘If My Heart Had A Voice’ was made over a long stretch of my life, but it was never made alone.

There are writers, producers, musicians, engineers and a whole bunch of brilliant humans behind these eight songs who helped turn the things in my head into something you can actually hear.

So this one is for them too.

Swipe through for to see just some of the people behind the record.

And thank you to everyone who has pressed play, bought a vinyl, sent a message, shared a song or simply spent some time with the album this weekend.

I am entirely independent and this means more than you know. 🫀🩶🩵

There’s only limited vinyl and once they’re gone, I won’t be reprinting. If you’d like to help, grabbing a copy or a digital download during release week is a huge help. Link in bio. 🙏

6 years ago today, lil starry eyed, baby faced Stellie (aka, me) released her first ever EP. This EP was straight from the heart. Raw, unapologetically me. No one told me what or who to write about - this was as pure as it could get.

Throughout my music journey, I think it’s safe to say I got a bit lost (and there were many factors as to why). But, every time I came back to this body of work, I remember that feeling I craved, and I thank my lucky stars that I got to do this and that everyone got to hear it. All the love, heartbreak (little did I know what was coming my way) and just pure, innocent teenage feels. I had the time of my life writing this EP, and those people and memories will stay locked away in my heart forever.

Pls enjoy this lil snapshot of that time I played a (COVID safe) EP launch, surrounded by most of my favourite people in the whole universe.

Also I’ve been doing a lot of thinking, maybe Stellie is overdue for a sneaky live show? Could be fun x

The same day I got the mix back for ‘Better’, I had just walked out of a situation that had dragged on far too long. I pressed play, and cried.

Not because I was sad, but because I was finally hearing what I was telling myself. To be brave, and step forward. This song is about realising you deserve better, especially from yourself.

It’s a story all of us can own now.

BETTER is out now, please go listen and share with someone who needs to hear it.

Thank you to the wonderful humans Joel Quartermain and Edwin White who helped bring this to life. You forever inspire me to step forward. Thank you.

BETTER is now yours to hold.

If you need it today, I hope it meets you where you are.

Please go listen, save or share with someone who needs it.

Don’t shrink. Let people show up for you. It’s ok to be seen.

Thank you to Joel Quartermain and Edwin White for bringing this to life with me, and for making the studio feel like freedom.

She Is Aphrodite for the raw energy, the lols and the magic behind the lens, and Reanin Glah for makin’ me so damn spicy.

LOVE to Jay Tweedie for the boss artwork and being a steady force in my corner more than you know. Everyone needs to find themselves a Jay Teeedie. ILYSM.

Better is out now. Go put it on repeat. 🤍✨💋

Thanks to Peter Holz on mix, and Leon Zervos on master.

I used to be too scared to sing in front of people.
Now I’m putting this out into the world.

You deserve better than you tell yourself.

Better is out now.
