Thank you to everyone who came out for the THE GIRL FROM CLEVELAND CITY table reading at @howardwind 's @nighthawkchicago !
We read two scenes from Episode 1: Welcome to Cleveland, and had insightful discourse after.
Grateful to everyone brave enough to make key characters come to life.
The crowd came in from Chitown proper, suburbs, Cleveland and even New York City.
After, we took a group photo of all the Niles North Vikings, together for an informal reunion.
When you're with the people you grew up with, it's like no time passed.
And everyone else there completed the picture for a memorable, fun and creative experience.

Good times with great friends

Made a trip out to the burbs to meet up with my high school classmates for dinner. Picked @saranellos in Wheeling as it was conveniently located and their menu was broad enough to accommodate a variety of diners. I went with the Eggplant Parmesan and it was excellent. I was a bit surprised by the amount of layering - looked more like lasagna, and I was totally ok with that! Breading was light and the flavor of the eggplant came through. I love me some sauce and they were generous with it! Space is open and warm, service was personable and attentive. Definitely a great place for a large gathering, family dinners, or a romantic meal.
